You can, it's a marker on the compass at the top middle od the screen.
Why? If you're still in a vehicle in the top 20 the likelihood of being gunned down from multiple players increases dramatically.
Hmmm. I didn't see that. Is it a directional arrow or the actual marker icon placed on the map?
Yeah, I was in the top 5 and got run down. Does it take more shots to kill the driver if in a car as opposed to out of the car?
YMMV I guess. I have put about 10 hours into the game. Sole, Duels, and Squads with 3 friends. Zero crashes. The ONLY issue I have is that it takes forever to find a 4th player if you have a team of 3.
It might be an oversight on my part, but why do we need killcam?
This seems like will be specially bad for duos and squad matches, where the killed mate can tell the others from where it got killed.
I played with two others and had no issues getting a fourth through matchmaking. Two of us got crashes while we played, when that happens whatever your last controller input was continues so I drove along next to my friend crouch walking in a random direction (away from a cliff thankfully) while he loaded back in.
It really is a testament to the game that it's still fun in spite of the jank. I see people talking about better servers lately, can't wait to check it out and see if that's the case.
There is already a killcam available on the pc test servers, its coming to xbox eventually.
In solo, I'd definitely appreciate a kill-cam, but I can understand why it isn't there for duos and squads.
Bought a used One S for 90€ here in Germany, zero regrets. Game is playable and lots of fun. No chicken dinner for me yet but multiple times where I got #2 solo.
Played squad with randoms for the first time yesterday. All 3 of my mates were killed immediately after touching the ground. Found some decent equipment, got two kills and stole another quads car while all four of them were last minute looting which led to them being killed by the blue zone.
Got killed when there were only 9 survivors left and got 4th place for my squad. What a game.
I had a solo game crash yesterday with 13 alive with me driving a Jeep in to the hill. When I came back I was miraculously standing outside of my vehicle on the very edge of the circle with 8 alive. I immediately go prone and head for a shady patch near some trees. I see someone run by and manage to pop his head as he sprinted by. Down to 4 alive as I slowly crawl to the next circle and get situated. By that point it's just myself and the other survivor who I see run from the blue into the circle before dropping prone. Popped him in the grass, winner winner chicken dinner!

My luck today on this game has been terrible... To a level that is well past funny.
Game 1: can't find a gun in over a dozen properties. Died running to far away circle
Game 2: Guy with shotgun hiding in bedroom of un looted house that has all door closed. Lots of loot ground floor, open door, blam dead
Game 3: land way out of circle. (far north and circle is at military base) can't find vehicle. Dead
Game 4: Finally find some good loot and I'm in the centre of the circle. Game crashes. I load back up and I'm dead already before I can get back.
Game 5: circle closes in and I'm behind a rock that everytime I move from some random guy shoots me and I can't pinpoint his position. Circle engulfs us both and we both die
Highest position 43rd

It's directional, if you spin your character view round it will disappear from view until it comes back into view so you know you are heading in the right direction.
Hope you guys continue enjoying your experience with the game with almost no crashes ; ) trust me is a nightmare to deal with it in almost all my games.
Game is unplayable for me. And yeah ofc I can complain for a game preview, the build they used should have been more stable, it needed more work/time.
Starting a match, looting good shit and then being kicked out the game to join again and find out that you or your team mates have been aleady killed isnt fun at all.
Its a port, ofc the core experience is there, what did you expect ?
They also nailed the terror of not knowing when Im going to be kicked out of the game lol pure madness : (
I do undestand the concept behind the game preview program ; ) I also undestant the concept of broken paid beta.
I guess but I just think it looks goofy when you see someone driving around in a circle trying to run people down because it's so hard to aim. At some point the circle is so small there's really no need for vehicles and it should be about that final shootout.
Any word on squad matchmaking? I'm playing with 2 friends so it's 3 of us which means we need another person. But sometimes it takes forever to get 1 lone person playing squad.
What confusion ? Im mainly a PC gamer.
Im into the game, thats why I bought it, I already knew about lag, framerate and some bugs but I dont care that much about those issues, they will be improved with time, I just want to have fun playing with my console friends but I cant if the game crashes all the time, is not that hard to understand.
This release was kicked out the gate too early even for a game preview.
I dont want to derail the thread for the people who are having fun, enjoy the game guys, Ill be back when it is actually working.
Have they mentioned any type of update schedule? Or any news as to what to expect in terms upcoming updates?
I totally agree. This 3 to 4 cars driving around a small circle at the end of almost every match is getting tiresome. Disable the vehicles in the 3rd to last circle and let's fight it out man to man.
Just finished #4 in duos - it was an awesome game, my best yet. Moving closer to my first chicken dinner!

Nothing rock-solid, but there was a tweet about planning for weekly improvements. As far as I can tell, there have already been server-side changes that have yielded small improvements, but no user-side patching yet.
Not sure if it's been mentioned but crates have reset to original prices. Managed to score some combat trousers and a red shirt.

A red shirt sounds impractical for stealth gameplay, but who am I to criticize fashion choices? Maybe it's practical to hide the stains of blood. In which case I should get some brown trousers for that final circle action tbh.
If only I could sell.
It's all a bit pointless really. I can't see myself wearing anything else other then the black t shirt and dirty trousers I got on launch day

I'm just trying to find an excuse to post this, found it on the pubg forums, lol.
I've noticed people on Xbox have a tendency to not shoot at the cars, carts or even bikes.
My game glitched last night when I was trying to pick up a grenade and my guy was walking around with an invisible grenade whilst I was unable to change weapons or anything, so I found a bike and just rode around. The only reason I died was from self inflicted wounds from crashing so many times, I had one guy shoot at me the entire time and I had to double back and try to run him over a few times to even coax that. I think people are scared to give up their position by shooting or something, I dunno.
Does it do this on PC too?
That has got to be the laziest animation I've seen in my entire life. I am glad it landed on you though, lol.
I'll shoot at buggies and bikes if I have the ammo. If I don't, though, I'll try and wait it out.

The same way. Unless it's towards the end of the match. I've actually downed a couple depending on the type of vehicle they are in.
The best part about that clip is the shooters squadmate (I'm guessing) taking the wild shot at car guy at the end of the video.. one hits the top of the tree lol
Yeah, I've been able to shoot a couple on bikes and knockout a dude on the buggy. Jeeps/whatever they're called are hard passes unless I have a good scope and a clear shot, though.
It does. I never stand anywhere near a bike when trying to flip it.
I will take the shot if I think I'll hit it, it not, and I don't have a silencer, no way I'm taking the shot.
