Can I get someone to PM my gift buddy please? I sent it weeks ago and haven't heard anything. Would be nice to know it arrived safely!

I got a Resetera loot box delivered today from my SS. I absolutely love the Ewok art. I'm dying because the note talked about our mutual love of Star Wars. I'm waiting until Christmas to open the gifts.

Thank you so much AB!

Yay! Happy it got there! I'm sure you'll enjoy when you open!

EDIT: False alarm. The package wasn't from SS but I don't remember ordering a screen protector for my Wacom tablet. It's strange nonetheless but I won't question it.

My TT's gift will be sent to them very soon. Will update on that in the coming days.

In the mean time, looks like I'm already a TT myself ^_^ This arrived the other day, but I hadn't had a chance to open it til today.

I totally forgot this existed, so it was a nice surprise. Really like the cover design, it's super pretty. Thanks Santa whoever you are! There wasn't any name on it, so I'm not sure who it is.

Whoa, is that a vinyl? Never knew it existed either, but I want it.

I'm so sorry to my TT as due to my work schedule, I've only now been able to wrap your presents (just now lol) and will ship out on Monday. It'll still get to you in time (I hope) but I'm really sorry that I've been delayed in getting it to you. If it's been delayed, I'll contact you immediately, but just know that I'll be tracking it on my end as well.

To my SS, I received a mysterious package on my doorstop yesterday but will hold off on opening until Christmas. The main box arrived intact so hopefully everything inside survived without any issues. Thank you!

I'm glad it got to you safely. Was a bit nervous about a vinyl being shipped.

If you're a TT, and you live in the Midwest and haven't received anything yet, one of you will have somethings arrive this week. Been a super busy December for me!

So those that haven't gotten anything yet, don't give up hope yet!

Lol, that gif.I love these secret santas, because I feel you guys understand me more than anyone in my family does in terms of picking gifts I love. Thank again for the awesome vinyl, makes a nice addition to my collection I'm slowly building.

Sorry SS, I couldn't hold back any longer.

Aw, loved that film. Won't share the message inside, but they provided a clue as to their identity...

Got myself a cavalcade of goodies it seems. Fortunately to keep this post concise, my benefactor provided a list:

I would specifically like to highlight the 'Nintendo baubles'.I loved making hama bead decorations as a kid, particularly for Christmas, so this hits right in the nostalgia:

Also they are amazing - seriously, look at the ERA logo! However, these also served as clues to my SS' identity...

My work here is done
The hand-made bits are complete
Ready to dispatch

And as the inside of my card told me ':-A', I have but one conclusion...!

I really wish I knew how to make those, those look cool, and there are some characters from stuff like EarthBound I want to display.

Treat each bead as a pixel. Otherwise, you just put the beads on an appropriately sized board in the shape you want, use a hot iron (ie, for ironing clothes) on one side, remove from board, iron the other. Done. It's really easy and it's fun!

Actually, it is from your SS, which may or may not be me. Still not sure why I chose to ship that directly to you instead of to me and the send it with the rest of your gifts. I have another box to ship out which I'll try to get it out tomorrow. I've been sick the last few days but seem to at least kick my fever.

Really wanted to participate but did not think it would be fare to ask someone to ship to Japan... and vice versa. Maybe next year! (hopefully!)

The ones I used are called Perler beads. They're really easy. You just need the beads, a pegboard and some ironing paper. If you search on Amazon, you'll find everything you need to get started.

This is what I made last year. The ironing stage for a piece this big was stressful AF though!

So this got me curious as to what the distinction was, and it turns out Hama is a style/brand of what are more generally 'fuse beads'. Neat.

That is insane! I wish I had the patience to do something like this. Quick question; for something like this, is there a certain amount of time you should iron it for? I just ask because some beads still look like there are holes in them, while others seem to have no holes in them. Is that just a function of how melted they are?

It'll vary depending on the iron you use and the heat, so you're absolutely right that it's just an effect of how melted they are. It's also down to preference in terms of whether you like there to be visible holes are not. The trickiest bit is to get an even finish all over. But yeah, that wreath was a nightmare to bond together.

That's very impressive either way. I can imagine that ironing one part at a time while making sure the unbonded parts don't shift is very trying. How wide/tall did that wreath end up being?

FYI - reason I haven't responded or posted much since Friday is because I was out of town. My apologies!

The package to my TT is on its way since Thursday last week. It's slower than I thought but it should still be delivered on time.

I haven't received anything from my SS so far.

First package is finally on its way to my TT. I'm a bit worried by the message that said that duties and taxes would be collected at the destination. That would suck if that happens, but I'm sending from a shop 7000 km west of me to a home 10000km east of me. No way I'm paying the shipping twice.

Got my gift today from my SS. Pleasantly surprised since I havent played with Legos since I was a kid. And I just came back from the new Star Wars movie so this fits in nicely! Thanks for the chocolates too!! No idea who my SS is though, since there wasnt a card. Also, early apologies to my Tiny Tim if my present is a day late. Sent it out today but its possible it may arrive the 26th.
