Can you "lose" the items in the crate? Or are they permanently yours, regardless of how many times you die / get looted.
Is anyone aware of the Oceania server situation? A few pages back someone posted an image showing OCE servers but they're not there now.

There is no reason to buy more than like 2 or 3 crates a week. Just wait for the reset. Being purely cosmetic it doesn't really matter because it's going to get covered up by backpack and armor anyway

Played a match but had to stop to handle something. My first impressions are
- I need to study the control layout MN posted. Like when I say study I mean really go over it
- I couldn't find where my character was at on the map in relation to anything. I wasn't seeing an icon

I could have sworn my map icon didn't exist the first match. Look for a tiny, shaded circle with a little directional carrot. That's you.

My best is #11th. At this point I'm just trying to make top 10's.
It seems very important to position yourself properly and think ahead to where the circle is going to be. Every time I'm running for my life to make the circle it becomes an issue.
Try to have good weapons and gear from the beginning and do not engage on fights unless it's necessary
Loving the fact so many of my mates have picked this up, been squad hopping from one group who ran around screaming in fear in busy spaces to just getting a 3rd in Duos with a mate I haven't played with for ages.

Oh yeah! My brother and I played to 3AM PST and I'm sure we'll do the same tonight. It's a different game with a squad.
The sniper rifle in the loot drop box is the boss! Managed to snag it along with the helmet and an 8x scope. People were taking shots from waaaayyyy out.
Hold down the X button. Holding down on several of the buttons makes alternate commands.
Controller tips for newbies:
- Press down on D pad to cycle through medic options. Hold down on D pad to use, bandag, first aid kit. Instead of going through menu.
- Left on D pad to cycle fire rates.
- Right on D pad for grenades.
- Double click L trigger for ADS.

There seems to be alot of confusion about this.
You only have to tap LT once to toggle ADS. A friend of mine swore you had to double tap it too in chat earlier.
Yeah. I always double tap X to open doors becuase they sometimes don't open. Strange. Nice tips about the medi kit though. Thanks mate.
How do u revive on this, do you hold X? Ive never been in the situation where I've had to try it.
Press X over downed teammate. It takes a few moments for it to show up sometimes.

A friend of mine tried to revive me earlier but the circle had come in and we both died before we figured out how to do it.
I gave this a go once I got home from work. I have to say, this version of it, is pretty bad. Yes I know it's a Preview game. I've been playing the PC versions since the beginning, so I'm aware of jank etc. But the Xbox version in it's current state, they've got a lot to work on. The framerate is atrocious. There's no way around it. It's bad and really distracting. They did what they could with the controls, but this was made for a keyboard. Best way I can put it is this is like Counterstrike on Xbox, or last gen Battlefield games on consoles. Yeah they share the same name with their PC counterparts, but they play completely different, and not necessarily in a good way imo. If this is your only way to experience PUBG, I guess it will have to do. But man...
Also is there some customization that needs to be done on sticks? I don't know if there's major deadzones or what, but it just seems off. Using an Elite pad btw.

Yeah, in one game last night I saw a guy run by. The friend who was over to check out the game was yelling at me to start shooting, but I followed instead. There had been some gunfire on the hill nearby shortly before, so I figured he was going to check it out. I hung back, let the new guy run into the fray instead. They picked off the winner of the previous battle, then I took them out with a burst from behind - effectively winning three gunfights worth of loot in one encounter.
Just played my first game and I died I didn't know why until I realized I was in the red circle area....
Awful FPS however the jank nature of it gives it a charm I like, the bike is so fun hehe. Feels like a crap modded CS server or something.
Anyone want to maybe team up tonight and do some duos or something? Maybe even some squads? I did okay last night but died outside the blue zone cause I couldn't figure out how to fucking heal lol.
