It is out, I switched to the nz store a few hours ago and the buy button was live. :)
There's a game preview for PUBG? If there is, that's news to me. Still, that would be one way to test the waters for sure and I'll look into that once I get home today. Thank you SK4TE.
Can this only be bought on the console itself? My iPad app for Xbox store brings up nothing and it's past midnight in UK.
That's what this release is. This isn't the actual release of the full game.
I'm not sure if there is, but PUBG is in game preview program and I'm pretty sure every game in preview program had to. Can't check as I have brought the game already.

I'll also admit that I don't usually focus on the preview program myself. I think I can recall some games that do get that Hour long try out period, but that's about it. Like I said before though, I'll double check when I get home, and if there is no trial try out, that's not going to immediately tell me to not get it. I never had an interest in PUBG due to a lack of a good PC to play it on, so with it on X1, that's as close to my chance to trying it out as I can get.
I had a classic PUBG game...please bear in mind that I'm bad at MP shooters :)
Jumped early right in the bottom corner of the map. I saw someone else but they disappeared so I got some decent starting loot. The circle was middle of the island so it was miles away. Luckily there was a boat nearby so I had a nice cruise close to the middle of the circle.
I thought I'd run closer into the middle of the circle and I spotted a guy going into a hut. I rambo crawled up to it and I don't think he saw me. I even got to use third person camera corner-peeking to get the jump on him and mercilessly shoot him in the back.
The next 5 minutes were then mental as another 4 people tried to jump me in the hut. I got through all of those and had a lot of loot.
I manage to run into the next 2 smaller circles without being spotted, and I'm crouched at the edge of one with a big rock in front and the safety of the blue wall behind me. Plotting my next move and how I'll tackle the circle. Then BANG someone runs up on me at an odd angle and I'm dead!

I haven't played much of either game but I'm curious what you think makes this better than Fortnite?
When is the pc game going to get a visual update? Still looks and runs like ass for me(for a pc game anyway)

I don't know if it's just me, but I noticed some improved depth of field effects/weapon models on the test server. It looks and runs great for me on a nearly two years old PC with 980Ti.

I think it got a visual update but it may be relegated to the test server.
Me to man me to. But I'm getting worried with hearin how popular it is before it even comes out :O
The test server looked better in terms of graphics so hopefully when official release hits later this month on pc
I don't know why but you bolting out the door then dude casually closing it at :14 had me cracking up.
Game already looks to have a good playerbase and it's not even out yet here :/

i'm watching a few xb1 videos and i'm pretty impressed that it runs the way it does. i'm glad more people are finally seeing what the fuss is about

So when will this appear in the xbox marketplace? I might just buy it there and give a friend a copy of one of my amazon codes.
I know it's early access, but the gameplay itself looks so damn janky. Same as PC. I'd love to see a game like this with precise controls/movement like CoD
