Yeah, especially to the guy saying framerate doesn't matter because this is not a 'twitch shooter'.
Close-range engagement in PUBG is as twitch as most games get. If it's chugging during firefights then that's a problem.
Buddy one mine his game crashed two times when we were going high speed on a motorcycle. He is on a S and looks like the console just cant handle the speed and the quick loading of everything haha.

To add on to this, I would recommend checking out ChocoTaco. He's consistently in the top 10 kill rating and is really good about talking through his decision making and play style. I'm definitely a better player after watching and listening to him.

You're literally golden with any highlight on YouTube. He's the biggest PUBG streamer (with good reason) and he plays better than anyone pretty much every single game. It's truly ridiculous, since he's streamed for 24+ straight hours on Twitch before and managed to maintain his level of play.
But anyway, here's an example video.
He plays aggressively every game, often dropping at school (the de facto map "fight club"), and it's just fascinating to see him control the game the way he does.
How is the character creation in this? Just a bunch of templates and everyone look the same eventually?

I play PUBG on PC exclusively with a Controller so I am curious how inventory will be. I have it set up through steam to control the mouse cursor with the right stick and left trigger is mouse right click, right trigger is left clock (Basically works like Destiny 2's Menu.) Figured they would go that route, but they didn't it.
I'll be streaming tomorrow, playing on X1S. Should have some streams up on my youtube channel too. I have played 200+ hours on PC with a controller so I am looking forward to giving my impressions on the Xbox version.

Yeah, I was never sure if the building stuff in fortnite helped or hurt the game. Sometimes it was cool, other times it just annoyed me lol. But thx for the feedback! :D

As unstable as it is, I am still enjoying it, had plenty of memorable moments already. I turned the sensitivity down for the scopes and ADS and it's made a bit of difference and its a bit better now.
It is game preview, they have made pretty good progress on the PC version so I think they can have this running at solid 30fps on Xbone by the time it leaves the game preview, maybe outwith the parachuting since loading that whole island at once is even too much for my £1500 PC to be stable.

I think it's more server side atm....they would be getting hammered and ue4 can be a little janky when servers or hosts start fucking up

It's really bad when parachuting in and on the loading island but beyond that its playable. If you havent played it on PC you wont notice the huge difference. I still think its easily worth the £18 I paid, even in it's current state.

I had a moment myself the first game. Had a 2v1 that I ended up turning in my favor.
i've played at least 100 hours of pubg and maybe killed 2 people with melee lol. been on the receiving end a lot more though.
I've had three crashes in two games of duos on an Xbox One S which is very frustrating. Games fun enough otherwise.
Punching matches are the worst and the best.
Also, if you jump then punch and hit them in the head it's a single hit kill IIRC. Either that or it does a fuck ton of damage.
No options to mess with controls/sensitivity from the main menu!?

There is you have to hold down the menu button then it's in there, it's not very obvious

Have you actually played the new map? Unlike the old map it actually looks and feels like a real place. Towns look like actual towns instead of random buildings placed together in different configurations, locations have a lot more unique buildings and the interior of buildings are a lot more natural. The original map is pretty much what you've described, a map quickly cobbled together using store assets when they still only expected the game to sell a few hundred thousand copies (which is where a lot of the issues come from). Vehicle physics and driving have seen an overhaul and feel much better now. They still freak out when hitting each other sometimes, but I don't see that getting fixed any time soon.
I won't argue it's a looker, but I think it's fine for what it's trying to do. Maybe once they get the performance at a more stable level we'll see some graphical improvements.
How yall posting from the xbox one on twitter? Is that an option now from the console?
