I think everyone has different rules to SS.
Revealing yourself to your TT is an integral part for how i play SS - at least IRL. Because then you can openly talk about your reasoning as to why you chose certain gifts, which helps to create a deeper connection / bond / understanding between you and your SS.
Secret Santa: I hope you don't mind that I opened your gifts before Christmas... but it was a WONDERFUL end to a day of soul-crushing finals.
I'm super stoked to try out the fountain pen and notebook. I haven't had a piston converter before, so that'll be fun to fill! It's truly lovely, and I will follow up this post with a sample of how it writes. :')
With this copy of Lucifer's Call, I'll have three versions of Nocturne from various regions. :D I hope you have, somehow ;), still had the chance to play DS2.
Finally, I've been putting off buying this book for ages. I had no idea it was this big!

I don't think there's a hard and fast rule about that, if you wish to remain anonymous you should do so. But I personally find it fun to reveal :-)
The third and final package came today so you can rest easy knowing that everything got here. Thank you so much for coming through. You are actually my first secret santa. I grew up in a religion with out christmas and have had jobs where christmas isn't celebrated. This year I decided to just do it.

Especially when you know they've had it a while now. Suppose they might have waited for Christmas proper.
I don't expect mine to arrive at my TT's any time soon because of Xmas postage, but I look forward to her/him posting when it arrives.
There's so much I'd like to say/discuss about my experience in purchasing and postage but it would give me away so I'll wait till after Xmas when they've opened it.
Got my present and opened it because I'm impatient, this is exactly the type of thing i like to tinker with, i love it, thanks Santa!

I just thought I'd let my SS know, I've received your big box (woah) and I'll be opening on Christmas day!
I have no clue what the US post office is doing with my SS's gifts, every time I look at the tracking numbers they seem to have rotated to a different distribution center in Socal. Too bad you can't do intercepts on international mail. I just hope my postman finds them this week before we leave town, cause people have been stealing packages in our neighborhood recently. :P
Picked up my SS present earlier this morning and also shipped my gift to my TT.

Sorry I haven't poked my head in here for the past few days. Busy weekend!

My first gift for SS arrived. Wrapping paper, making the card, and the second half of the set are next before I send it out by this weekend if not next Monday at latest. It will be fun.

Even though my TT said they were fine with digital goods, I hope they'll be happy with that. I was originally hoping to get something physical for them, but with the recent trouble I had with my debit card, I don't think what I wanted to get would arrive in time. Digital seems the best way to make sure they get it by Christmas.
Well the mailman decided our neighbor deserved some SS gifts more than I did, but I managed to snag them off the patio before anyone noticed. Sent the USPS an email complaint and got a call back the same day, surprising!
The box and envelope look mostly intact, so I'll open them up this weekend before we start our holiday adventures. :)

Hmm, realising I listed pokemon on my form, but not which ones I liked, which is a thing you probably should do when there's 800 of them and you suggested plushies on your form. Not being a fan of Charizard or Mewtwo (when they are the go to's for most others) seeing them in plush form in my box might be a bit of a nightmare. Should have listed that Gen 3, 4, 5 are my favourite gens and that my favourite mons are Milotic, Absol and Roserade, but I'm good with Eevee and it's evo's as well. Should have put it on the form... or hope the SS is still prepping a box if they haven't sent it yet. That or they have something other than plushies in mind with what to send I guess.
Anyway, Looking at the tracking my TT got their gifts so I wait for their photos of it, as on my end still waiting on the gift itself, we'll see when that comes.
