There's some actual genius-tier framing in Easy Update, how the camera is obviously pointed at Kyle's face but you can still see all of Huber's reactions in the mirror, and without the camera showing up in the reflection!

if Kyle says he's sick of being harassed at work, we have to take him at his word.

Kyle, if you're reading this, we believe you and we support you.
That isn't funny. Obviously it was a bit and you seem to be taking shots at their believe people of sexual harrassment segment, which I remember you getting up and arms about and complaining about Ian's eloquence in talking about his view.

Not to mention the bit has nothing to do with sexual harassment, and comparing a silly prank skit to that is pretty low.

Why would anyone think that if this was real that Ian would upload the video?

What sort of piece of shit would you have to be to pick on one member of the team and then film it and share with your audience all without Kyle giving his permission?

The fact some people are still debating if this was real amazes me. Like, Kyle's acting was great and all but just using a tiny bit of logic should make you realise that this was a joke.

If anything gives away that the bit wasn't real, it's Huber's slightly stilted reading of his first line. He's great overall, but re-watching it, that line stuck out as the only sour note.

And also Ian wouldn't put it up if it wasn't a bit. I have to believe he's better than that.

All that being said, I would still love it if this saga continued a la the best Bonus Bits from the GT days.

I think it mostly comes down to a trust of EZA and how genuine they come across. That blurs the line between bit and reality for a lot of people. That's why when people hear Ian has had 4 divorces, they just believe it without question, because why would EZA lie to them? Same thing here.

for anyone who was sold on Assassin's Creed Black Flag from Don's pitch during the last Hall of Greats stream, it's FREE on uPlay right now.

I never played an AC game before, but this one sounds fun. and... FREE

Already double dipped on Black Flag, but it's great that there are no excuses not to give the best AC a shot now.

This is all just overshadowing the fact that Brad can look cool without even trying. Also, Ryan Thompson continues to be a treasure trove of acting/directing.

It's obviously real and Ian is clearly a bully to not only put Kyle through that but to also upload the footage to the internet. It's absolutely disgusting and Ian should be fired from Easy Allies immediately.

Huber should get a stern telling off too.

Yeah I can see that side I suppose.

Just makes me laugh/worry for people who follow Easy allies, knows they are about love and respect and are known for comedic bits and yet believe they would suddenly start airing their dirty laundry in public, all during a comedy bit.

Like, the whole premise of the easy update was a comedy piece yet some people think they would for some reason include a segment where real life bullying was taking place at the end?

I can understand reading into team dynamics and making conclusions but how anyone could logically think that the ending being real was more likely then it being a bit just baffles me.

I'm sorry but no. They went to hell in a past episode as well maybe that was real? We can't give a pass for audience stupidity.

Edit: not directed negatively at you ghostsofwar if it comes of like that.

No offense taken. I honestly think it's kind of adorable. Like the divorce mention and this is so low-key, the line starts to blur for some. Going to hell makes it apparent that it's a bit. But the genius of last week's Easy Update and Kyle's outburst is how well it treads that line of bit and reality.

That's a bit of an exaggeration. They're down 70 from a month ago which is not that much of an outlier. They are also up $1500. They have seen a surge in sponsors as well. Frametrap is now up to 5, podcast is maxed at 11. D&D patreon is up to 7

I mentioned Patrons. Yeah, they are up dollar wise. But every day, they lose another patron(s). They are still doing great for sure because the community is so strong. Just wonder where its gonna shake out in the new year.

It just dawned on me that Switch is going to make devs raise their prices on their PS4 and Xbox releases in order to achieve parity and avoid negative comments.

How often is that? Once per month?

It's 2 two hour long sessions. So four hours a month.

Do you guys get up to as much antics as the EZA crew?
Haha yea. We definitely have some wildcard players in the group. Our latest session that happened Saturday everyone jumped into a black hole with no real proof it'd work, and our mage cast polymorph on another party member just to get him to sit still so we could rest. Hah in the past we killed one red dragon and befriended two others. In another instance we ran into mindflayers (who I'm convinced was Lars) and the one party member who still hasn't caused any enemy any damage defeated him.

Fun stuff

Some digital releases on switch are the same price as the PS4 or Xbox One games. It's only the physical releases that are more expensive because cartridges cost a lot more to produce then blurays.

edit:
At least that is what it used to be, I don't own a switch yet, so I don't watch it super closely.

Oh wow lol. I would pay to watch this campaign. :P That seems like a really fun tier reward. Sounds like things could get hectic (in a good way) with the larger number of players, too.

Sounds so cool. Tried a D&D IRL a few weeks bck and it was difficult to get into to say the lest. DM also newbie so to speak. No personl interest in the Patreon tier, but I always wondered, how you guys nd Ben handle plyers who potentially are only there for a month?

I started in the summer but I haven't seen a one and done player. Most I think jumping into that tier you'll be there for a bit. Its really been a lot of fun. I've never really been able to get a good D&D campaign to work IRL and haven't tried in forever. Having Ben as DM really makes it work.

Is it through Google Hangouts? When I get back on the Patreon train, I might want to do this.
