I mean if european websites were scheduling it for October and now it's 7 months later with a new platform added to it, I would guess some of the reason for the delay would be for launch parity along with more fixes.
That's just the description of the PS2 version though. It even talks about the 15th anniversary.

Actually I was only using that one because the initial store that leaked it, Coolshop, had deleted their entry and I couldn't find snapshots when I posted. That one had PS4/XBO.
uuhhhh.....we were already promised perfect ports of Super Turbo in the 15th Anniversary Collection and HD Remix which didn't end up so well
Because people that remember the rumor remember Switch wasn't in there. And because very recently they "regretted" not getting the legacy collections for Megaman out on the Switch. So now we have another game that's getting a switch port, a previously rumored game to be released earlier in the year without a Switch port, now officially announced for several months later. It's an observation that can lead to one believing that the collection was delayed to accommodate newer platforms for the sake of release parity.
