I love Aluneth bragging about its uncontrollable power as you accidently mill yourself to death with the effect you originally sought from it.

Yea, Aluneth seems tough to use.

I first put it in a random mage deck not really thinking about the consequences and milled myself to death.

After that I better understood how, exactly the card worked and built a quick, low spell cost deck that would be perfect for the weapon... and I milled myself to death.

Big spell Mage seems bonkers! Though probably hard countered by Anduin.

My god Grizzled Guardian is nuts just like I predicted. People slept on that card.

looks like the legendaries i've pulled are all shitty..except maybe the darkness but it's more like an invconvenence for late game than a victory condition.

You don't need many legendaries from this set. In fact most of them are pretty trivial.

Balanced card.

So what are the most obvious crafts so far? I want to spend some dust, but don't want to regret it in a couple weeks if it turns out the cards/decks aren't that good.

I really thought hunter spell stone would be trash bc the new board clears and how priest would just eat those 3/3s for lunch. I still feel this is what should be happening and the game is just all over the place as usual for week one

In my opinion, 4 mana epic that summons 4 4/4s and draws a card each time it gets one, is the most insane value I've seen in game in a long time. That card should not draw on spiders and they should not be 4/4. The rogue weapon, to me, in combination with miracle deck, looks busted, you can never fatigue if you just wicked knife at end game. That's just my evaluation though, but miracle just looks dope af with that stuff, and the 2 mana minion who tutors your weapon is under costed (compare it to hydrologist, a great card with similar stats, except you're tutoring a busted weapon that gets better as you buff if and stays buffed, versus some decent secret which while good, lol doesn't compare to that weapon).

Holy poop, spell hunter is really killing aggro in its tracks. Haven't faced it with face hunter yet though, will be interesting.

Elemental mage is feeling pretty good against spell hunter tho, thanks to new spellstone and elementals.

Tough to say, Arcane Tyrants have been insane for me in druid and can also find a home in mage and other classes. The summoner and the worm that gets cheaper look to be decent as well.

3/1 are terrible stats and I don't think miracle rogue needs to run it to get optimal use out of kingsbane. The strider is dumb yeah.

Ain't about the stats it's about drawing a 1 mana weapon you probs already buffed to op status. Body is just a bonus, I think as a tutor for that card it's pretty nice, but even without that card I really like that deck

Like even if you only gave weapon +2 attack, draw that card is basically 3 mana 3/1 and 3/3 weapon. But yeah the minion isn't the super op part but I think weapon and spider card way too good

If I dust my extra cards I could get 11k dust, might do that if I could get legend this season , so I can play more fun deck.

And 0 mana 5/5 corridor creeper is good.

Yeah you're just playing too much crap in spell hunter and the best card in it doesn't require you not to play minions.

the spellstones are all busted. 1 mana for 6 damage is dumb, 4 3/3s is dumb, deal 7 heal 7 is dumb. Mage one sucks tho

Seems to me the best part about new hunter is secrets + spellstone. So I janked up a list where that package is combined with deathrattle thingies.

Spell hunter just wrecks everyone when it gets stuff on curve, 2x secret to spellstone to 2 my side.

edit: why is Corridor Crawler an epic anyway? It's a glorified Nerubian Prohpet ffs.

So many epics to craft...

Having fun with big spell mage, though it's lacking in card draw.

I don't think I got a daily quest again today.
relog-in several times, it appeared to me after doing it for the fourth time.
What happens with the hunter DK?
the hero power works only for the beasts in the wild sets + the standard sets until KFT beasts, not from K&C beasts and on.

it's completely stupid and makes me wonder what in the head Team 5 had when they thought that would be a good idea.

so, for example on next standard year Deathstalker Rexxar will only discover beasts from Classic, Ungoro and KFT from his hero power, even if there are 4 more sets released by december.

Once everyone goes back to Razakus Priest it will go away. Psychic Scream and Duskbreaker absolutely destroy Hunter.

Out of the decks I've tried so far, Dragon Razakus Priest feels like the most powerful to me. Surprised more people aren't running it tbh.

I'm pretty hyped about hunter deathrattle against control, but Psychic Scream really wrecks the whole idea. Why did they have to give priest answers to everything? It's ok for a class to have a weakness.

Priest's weakness has traditionally been early game, though tgt dragon priest has a good early curve.

Late game removal and deathrattle mitigation has kind of always been a priest thing.

Ever since minions like Tar Creeper became a staple, I don't there exists such a thing as weak early game. And even in priest proper there's things like Potion of Madness, Kabal Talonpriest.

I need some advice, is it smart crafting rare cards? I wanna try Elemental Mage but I don't have Ruby Spellstones, Servants of Kalimos or Explosive Runes. I might get them later in packs but that could take months:(

Or maybe I should save the dust for a Primordial Glyph?

Because it is the third day of the expansion and they are experimenting? Awful I know.
Which is why I'm asking why people are trying it out, even in a SHR deck it's terribly statted and slow for a deck that tops out at possibly 6 if they are foregoing Tirion.
The net decks told me to...juggler fuel? Minions to put down for Tauren legendary guy? I have one of him and one crawler but I might cut something for one of those epic creeper guys that are popular. Is he really bad? He seems to have purpose.
I can see the reasoning, I can't fathom running a creature that weak for it.

So I have decent decks for:

Rogue (miracle and prince)
Druid (Jade)
Paladin (mid-range/control)
Shaman (Jade, Elemental, Evolve)

I also have tonnes of cards for Warrior. I can build pirate and an old school style control.

Question: if I have enough dust for one legendary and two epics, which new cards do you think would strengthen these common archetypes more?

I pulled Fungal Lord from a pack, but struggling to see how to make him work.

PS - I play Standard exclusively right now.
