Also coming to Vita (previously announced) - More in the link
https://blog.eu.playstation.com/201...adventure-reverie-announced-for-ps4-out-2018/

Now, some of you may already know Reverie is coming first to the PlayStation Vita worldwide in Q1 2018, but we are very happy to announce that it will also be coming to PlayStation 4 soon after, as a physical release and digitally on PlayStation Store.

The physical PS4 and PS Vita editions of Reverie will be released in small quantities after the digital launches because of the time it takes to produce the physical goodies we're including: a manual, map, physical soundtrack CD and the game cartridge/disc (obviously).

The biggest news here is Vita and you buried the lede! EDIT: I didn't realize it had already been announced. Ignore me.

This looks very cool, hope there's a good story to tie it together. But I admit that a "Zeldalike" Earthbound has been high on my fantasy list for many years. I will be forgiving.

"EarthBound-inspired" is a phrase I need to hear more often.

Looking forward to seeing how this turns out!

An earthbound themed zelda like.

Hmmm, it's looking to derivative of zelda and not earthbound enough, i think.

Instantly bought.

Now, someone explain to me why we don't see more indie games doing games like this/Zelda/Pokemon, etc.

Definitely grabbing a physical copy for the Vita. I still have to play Earthbound but I always liked the style.

The art is definately "Earthbound" inspired, to the point of emulation. (I'd like to directly compare the character sprite to Ness to see how close they actually are) Gameplay does not look at all inspired by it.

This looks really interesting. When I first saw stuff from it, I was concerned it was a bit too on the nose with its inspiration, it almost looked like a really well-made tribute or fan game. But the more I've seen of it, the more it does seem to have something of its own identity, so I think I'll be checking this out.

I definitely jumped at the news when I saw "EarthBound inspired" when the game was originally announced. I like what I see. It's definitely got it's own thing going on too. Definitely in for a copy on the Vita.

Dang, got super excited, and thought it would be closer to an RPG, but at this point, this is fine too.

The art style is closer than Mother 3 than Earthbound I would say. Not sure if I dig the gameplay though. I'm one of those sucker who doesn't really get into light simple combat with puzzle solving gameplay akin to Zelda series.

Getting some great Minish Cap vibes from that trailer. Something I loved from Earthbound that's missing in most of the games it inspired is the setting. I wish there were more games set in amusing pastiches of the USA. I hope that's present in this game!

I was thinking the gameplay would be similar too, but Zelda like gameplay works. Looks awesome. The world needs more Earthbound inspired games, I don't think I've seen any others other than Undertale.

Looks alright, perhaps a bit too derivative for my tastes. It seems more Zelda inspired but with Mother's artstyle.

Looks like Earthbound but that trailer doesn't make it seem like it has anywhere near the gameplay related fun. Mildly interested either way and hoping it delivers something decent after sharking a classic so hard.

As others have said, it seems to be more Zelda than Earthbound. I'll wait for reviews and maybe check it out for PS4 when released if it has positive reception. Earthbound is one of my all time favorite games.
