Question about the MONDO Portal release... was the MondoCon version a blue/orange split, or were there two LPs; one blue and one orange?

I'm going back and forth about just grabbing the grey/white split. I'm not a fan of split colors like that, but... I might still cave and get this.

Preordered Kid Dracula and Rocket Knight Adventures. #23 USD shipping to Canada hurts HARD, but StS puts out such good releases that I had to order both. Also, once KD arrives, I'll have 5 Castlevania related OSTs on Vinyl, hehe.

Gonna ahve to pass on Portal for now, even though I want that bad too. Too much spending!

I asked them on Twitter and they said that the Konami titles will likely have EU distro. They didn't say which one, but I'm guessing Vinyl-Digital. WTTFZ will most likely not have EU distro, though.

Been eying the Data Discs' release of Shenmue for so long, decided to lump it in during Mondo's free shipping event! Can't wait to listen to their usual superb mastering.

I see, thanks. For some reason i was sure it was 2xLP, one of each color, but... I have no idea why I thought that.

Makes the grey/white split a bit less annoying. I guess I'll have to think about it for the next day and a half to decide if I want it or not. I would have preferred a solid Companion Cube Grey, to be honest. :)

grrrrr!! this is why I hate variants!

I had no idea this was coming out... I already bought a copy from STS, then saw this!

so I purchased this one and emailed STS to cancel the copy I bought from them but keep my other order.

I paid $8 shipping for 2 vinyls at STS and $7 for this small one at Yetee... don't know how much refund I'll get from shipping costs at STS but dang the total shipping almosts costs more than the records themselves >_<

and all these problems would be solved if ppl just stopped doing variant vinyls!!

Yeah this pisses me off too. I ordered both RKA and Dracula from STS yesterday but the Yetee variants are way better and just went up a little later. Bunch of BS.

I'm cancelling my STS ones, especially since I want Flinthook's vinyl too and will just combine all the shipping.

Hey Jekki, STS cancelled my order pretty swiftly and effortlessly after I emailed the admin address. Give it a shot!

Portal OST preorder Vinyl goes up on sale at Mondo in about ~45 minutes. They have lots of cheaper stuff like Castlevania, Ninja Gaiden, Metal Slug...etc. Lots of great albums.

Also Pre Orders for Sonic Vinyls this Friday. If you are a Sonic fan, get it, Brave wave IMO, makes the best quality vinyl releases. Both in terms of packaging and exceptional audio quality...iirc they have the mega man 2 sound composer on their production team (not on this sonic release, but just in general)...lots of people of that caliber on their team.

Caved and bought Portal. Dammit. As one of my favorite games, I couldn't pass it up, even if I don't like the colors that much.

I emailed them monday evening after I got home from work and have not heard a response from them :(

remind myself to email them again tomorrow lol. Their faq says cancellations are OK within 24 hours or 7 days for preorders.

I did email them w/in 24 hrs and given this is a preorder I should also still be in my 7 day window lol

If you don't hear anything soon then try DMing them on Twitter or FB. They usually respond fast there as well.

Johto Legends is delayed until Q2 2018. Materia Collective isn't done with the mastering, so 8bit haven't been able to start pressing it yet.

Over the past week I have gone from ordering my first vinyl game soundtrack, the Mondo Castlevania 10", to ordering another 5 other game soundtracks of various franchises. This thread is dangerous to my wallet.

You start buying 1 or two releases that you really like... Pretty soon you're ordering soundtracks you haven't even heard. Welcome. And sorry.

The Castlevania vinyl is really good so enjoy it, plus 20 bucks is a decent deal for your first vinyl.

What other OST's did you, interested! INDULGE US. Ill take a picture of my holiday haul after December...

Every other Castlevania OST (Simon's Quest, CV3, Super Castlevania, & the Netflix series), Darkest Dungeon, Crypt of the Necrodancer, & Nuclear Throne.

Uuuuh I'd fully recommend listening to what you're about to buy before paying for it. Just seems prudent really.

Unless you're on that level that buys all of something to complete the collection, like cards or stamps.

iam8bit is promoting December surprise announcements starting tomorrow. Announcements of stuff on the 5th, 6th, 9th, 12th, 13th, and 19th. Could potentially be anything so I'm not sure how relevant it is, but I guess there's a good chance there's some vinyl in the mix.
