If you set up a JP account as primary you can access content purchased on it with any account on your PS4. Any account is assigned to one primary console, but a single console can have numerous primary accounts.

So these are the songs missing from the Clazziquai DLC...mostly licensing issues I imagine:

I Want You (Lin-G; probably coming in a later game as has appeared in many)
Melody (Urbatronic Chopsticks)
This hurts. Both of these songs got a lot of playtime when I went through Clazziquai the first time around. Hopefully they appear in some form or another later on.

Yeah hopefully, it's just weird they're not in the Clazz one. It's not like they need to beef up the BS song count.

This game has something that really cheers me up and motivates me to be better.

Like, know I'm slowly learning how to play with 5 notes, sometimes I get depressed seeing all those 10 stars 8 notes gameplays, but I feel that I'm way better tan how I was 1 week ago

I've been playing 6 notes, and holy cow, my brain honestly can't keep up with those 2 extra buttons. It's unreal how uncoordinated I am.

Same for me. 6 note is probably my glass ceiling for now. Same with Superbeat with its hardest difficulty, eventually my brain can't keep up with all the notes and note types!

Man the GG songs are awesome, especially Marionette. They didn't skimp on the chart counts either, must be like 30 altogether across just 3 songs.

I haven't played in 6 weeks, I'm a bit rusty. Good excuse to use the patch features though and play every song to save my speeds, and label my favourites of course!

Still salty that I'm missing a picture from the gallery, 299/300. Game is bugged :/

Got in there first Dangerblade but yeah, loads of charts. All have normal, hard and max charts on every key mode, except 3.

They register as Respect tracks if you want to find them quickly on the track list.

Does anyone have experience with Virgo controllers?
I'm thinking about pre-ordering recently announced Virgo Fever - so than I can completely retire my DJMax Trilogy setup - but I have no idea about build quality and if Sanwa buttons/Omron switches worth upgrading the basic version.

I had their SDVX controller and it was amazing.

As for the switches, depending on how intense you want to be with it...You can always upgrade the switches on your own later.

Whoa, I may have to get this. The PS4 controller is pretty awkward to use.

Edit: Yikes, that price, though.

Given the layout, this could cover SDVX and IIDX too. I might have to get one of these~

Welp, pre-ordered. An unexpected purchase at the end of the year, but if it means improving the DJMax experience, I'm all in.

Finally got round to playing the Guilty Gear DLC. Holy Orders rocks per usual. One of the few note charts I can clear at 10* and above (I think that takes me up to 2 now!) and the other two songs really rocked as well. Looks like I can get some decent playtime out of these songs until the big DLC drops at month end.

Looking forward to your thoughts on it, probably gonna splurge on it early next year.
It's definitely coming to US/EU soon.
They update a lot on their facebook.

Thank for the opinion. Since Virgoo does not deliver to my country and have not answered any emails I've decided to buy (although it is also technically a pre-order as they do not carry them in stock despite what the store says) EZMAX controller from Gamo2, that on paper looks like basically the same thing.

Curious if there will be cross-region play. That'll likely influence my decision to double-dip. Similarly, I wonder how DLC will work.

There's cross region play between the Asian and Japanese release of the game, so I don't see why there wouldn't be between the Western release as well. And in regards as DLC, I'm sure it'll be exactly the same as the system already set up. I don't think the western version will get any freebies.

Nice. I ask the question for DLC because usually music has licensing issues when bringing them to the West, so I don't know if that will come into play or not. Or at least, that's my understanding of it.

FINALLY. I was fully expecting digital only, but oh well. I was hoping for a very limited LE like with Portable 3 & Technika Tune.

Wish we had a more concrete date instead of "Q1 2018" considering that could be next month, but I'm betting March or maybe even April.

I'm really hemming and hawing about the Virgo Fever controller. It'd be awesome to have a dedicated setup for rhythm games, but the $120 shipping costs is wiiiiiiild. Are there any alternatives or will I have to suck it up?

I'd be up for a tournament, but I imagine my skills would be a bit rusty having not played a DJMAX game for quite some time (how long ago was Portable 3??) & I probably won't win to the people who imported the game & played a ton before the US release.

I'd say maybe a lottery for people who post a picture of them playing the game during launch week. Good way to support the game releasing over here.

Siliconera has a few bits of info about the US version:

Speaking with Seung-Chul Baek at PlayStation Experience this weekend, the producer told Siliconera that they are making one global build. This means the song list will be the same as both the Japanese and Asian versions, and there won't be any extra songs or DLC packs for the US release. Moreover, the game has global leaderboards, meaning the US, Japan, and Asia releases are all the same on the leaderboards.

While there won't be any US-exclusive DLC packs when the game launches, there will be new DLC and the plan is to release new ones every three months or so. After the Clazziquai Edition DLC pack, the team will release a Technika pack and then Black Square. However, the Technika pack won't contain songs from KARA. Rocky Studio will try to get the license, but it isn't an easy task for the developers.

On the subject of adding new songs, we asked if there are any plans to add more Kpop licenses, to which Baek said they're actually interested in making original songs or doing video game crossovers like the Guilty Gear songs from Arc System Works. If you're wondering, we'll get those in the West as well.

The rhythm game is slated for a Q1 2018 release, but only as a digital title for now. If Rocky Studio can find a good partner in the United States, a physical version would be a possibility.

Interesting that Technika is coming before BS.

And I would much, much, MUCH rather have original songs (or stuff from other games) over licensed tracks, so that makes me happy.

Clazziquai DLC is out! Just purchased it (and the Guilty Gear songs since I have enough in my wallet).

It's been a while since I've played. Had no idea you could switch themes.

May upload some gameplay later tonight. I'm only familiar with a few songs from Clazziquai so for the most part, this is somewhat new to me.

Wait so are they saying that when the US version ever drops, we won't get any DLC ever? Me waiting until next year or just making a foreign account and buying it now hedges on that. I was the same way when Hatsune Miku Future Tone came out.

Uploaded all 22 Clazziquai songs. 6B Hard or Max. Nothing amazing. Just wanted to show the songs.

Link to one of my favorites, Electronics:
https://youtu.be/EvtjeRUfMc8

7 new trophies, btw.

I'm not too good with the Maximum difficulty. Still a learning curve but IMO, alot of these Clazziquai songs have fun MAX charts on 6B that are very doable.

I've said it since day 1 but ill buy every DLC that comes out, lol. So many great songs.
