The reffing has been pretty bad tonight huh? Oliveira tapped and the ref didn't even noticed.

Tonight has had the worst reffing I can ever remember, from two guys who are supposed to be good at this (Herb Dean and John Mergliatta).

What an amazing event so far, and we haven't even started the main event yet.

I like the Reem but Ngannou is a great "from nothing" story. In this case literally from being homeless

just wanna point out gaethje is 18-0 in MMA with 15 knockouts

most ppl just talk about his style and crazy fights, but thats an insane record and i dont see it mentioned (yeah it's mainly in WSOF, but still)

man the prelims were so dope besides the blind refs.

I'm an Overeem fan so I want him to win the title to add to the collection. I don't think he's got many more fights left in him even if he's still in love with the sport.

I also really like an Ngannou and always root for fellow Africans, but he'll have more opportunities.

The fact he was a WSOF champ means nothing. You don't get a record like that in this sport easily.

Plus, people really underestimate how many UFC calibre fighters are out there that haven't gotten their chance yet.

I think he came in such great shape because he's taking Ngannou very seriously.

That was an okay fight.

Alvarez/Gaethje is next though.

If there's a fight that can give Oliveira/Medeiros a run for its money, it's gonna be this one.
