Although I'm sure he has already seen it, I want Huber's review of Takashi Miike's 13 Assassin's. One of my favorite samurai films.
Shit like this is why I've been saying ResetEra needs threadmarking, because once a thread gets past 10 pages or so, people stop reading through everything. At least with threadmarking, the important stuff is easy to find.

I've been trying to get Kyle to watch hibana spark for awhile. It's a Japanese live action series about comedians. I feel like he would find it fascinating.
They just gotta raise the stakes when it comes to winning the PSX Betting Special by making the punishment something unprecedented. I have no idea what that would be.

Although, I don't know if I'd call the video a JOKE necessarily, since it doesn't really seem to be trying to be "funny."
In case you weren't aware, you get something different every week in Easy Update (Ian's show). For this episode, I saw it as him commenting on being Ian Hink using the fictional Ryan Thompson as a conceit. There's a ton of hate on the internet, but Ian probably gets the most out of the Allies, so it's a powerful way to discuss it all without being super direct about it.
But then again, the best jokes really aren't funny, truly.
I'd love to know how he got his hair to look like that. Looks like regular hair on the sides.

Thinking about it now, Ian low key puts out some of the best and definitely most creative stuff of the Allies. (bounding, miserable little pile of secrets, the sorry there is no episode easy update, the doggie and puppers review, Ian and Brandon studio upgrades, that game he made to introduce his Brad song, any of the Ian and Don odyssey/convention carpet reviews/hit the beach etc.)
