Aldo is still a great fighter, but he was slowly drowning in the first fight and things will likely go similarly unless he can make big changes. Still excited to see it anyway, tonight's card is packed with elite MMA.

That was an awful stoppage. Herb made some amateurish officiating mistakes. For one, he was standing at a terrible angle, and secondly Homasi was clearly defending himself intelligently (he didn't even really get touched).
I don't think Aldo will be in trouble if he doesn't win tonight. The torch has to pass at some point. The division is in good hands if Max wins tonight or the third fight should they go for a trilogy.
I think if Aldo loses, he'll probably continue taking fights and keep moderately active until Max gets knocked off or he loses again, at which point he probably will retire. He also wants to do boxing though, you he might ask for a release or waiver and keep himself busy with boxing until another shot at the title comes along.

Man, I really hope Aldo does NOT win. I feel I moved on and the division should move on as well. Bad enough that Frankie is still good enough to kill contenders after having already gotten 372 title shots. (Holloway is also a fresh matchup for everybody, Aldo already fought Cub/Frankie twice)

teymur is more of a counterfighter so his opponent kept putting his hands down to taunt him and teymur would just stand there waiting, and herb warned him for timidity/back stepping
mind you teymur is being active the entire round, he threw more punches that round
