Now imagine how well Berserk '16 could've turned out if it had had this level of talent and competent direction behind it.

Fuck Griffith. Here, I said it.
Griffith is the hero that Midland needed.
I hope when Guts gets to face him he gives him a slow painful death!
No. I think that's the right amount of thinking to be honest. Berserk is way more than just a simple revenge story now. If Griffith dies that's going to have some world changing consequences. One of my theories is that Griffith was almost too well "made" in terms of his desire for power, namely a kingdom and now that he has one he isn't going to give it up or use it for the God Hands greater ends. Even to the point where he turns against them to maintain his kingdom and is actually the savior of humanity... until Guts shows up not giving a shit about any of that and just wanting to chop him in half for revenge which would really add a new layer to things. Does he fuck humanity and kill his mortal enemy or recant and give up his revenge so humanity can prosper... or I'm thinking too much about it.
I'm confident that Griffith is bad news even for the people that he's taken under his wing in Falconia. I think he's just playing some strange long game that we can't see the end of yet.
And yeah, fuck Griffith.
Well my idea was that he's playing a different long game to the God Hand. This is all also assuming that Falconia is doomed from the start and they're just gather as much of humanity as possible there for a sacrifice to end all sacrifices but in general the plan seems about consolidating power inside of Falconia even with the destruction of other spirit trees like the one Flora lived in to allow the world tree to grow ever more powerful. That and of course the merging of the layers in general seems to be about this on a much grander and cosmic scale.
I could totally see that. No reason he wouldn't use them just like he used everyone else. Sure will be interesting to see if the story takes a significant jump forward after we see what happens with Casca.
That sounds about right I think. As Guts said, Griffith's kingdom is only another step, and he seek to soar to even greater heights. My guess is that Griffith's ultimate goal will be to surpass the Idea of Evil as the god of the world.Well my idea was that he's playing a different long game to the God Hand. Yet Casca likes being around Farnese and Farnese likes helping her. My head cannon is that when she gets fixed she continues her friendship with Farnese. As not there as Casca is she still clearly knows when she does and doesn't like being around someone. Not to mention in Casca's head her bug form is clearly attached to Farnese since her bug form is with her.

I'll ask you to never compare that thing to my beloved Gattsu again.
Thank you.

1- Yes but a remastered not blu-rayA couple questions:
1. Any USA region compatible Blu-Ray releases for the 1997 series?
2. Anymore seasons of the new Berserk series planned or even hinted at?
