The problem with quest priest is the Amara just isn't very good. You would have to be able to complete it by turn 8 or so without dying for Amara to be good and I'm not sure that is ever really going to happen.

But only 1/1s? By that point you're probably using eternal servitude and I swear they always have that card when they barnes. I don't think I've ever seen them not have it.

I think it might be something that accelerates quest completion though.
First that requires quest priest to be a deck which will be a chalenge considering what the quest actually gives you,

That 9 mana 3/3 mage minion is another dud to the evolve pool. This expansion is doing some damage there, lol.

I was thinking of Alanna as an alternate wincon for quest mage since you're running 2 tomes 2 blizzards and Time Warp bur I don't think it fits

WOW, so last expansion i came away with 8/9 DKs (missed thrall).

the only class leggy i got? moorabi

bizarre! granted i crafted a fair amount of cards, but i really lucked out all in all imo as i wanted the DKs and didn't gaf about the classies for the most part. (i missed all 3 princes and linch king and his dog, however. but yeah, all i was after was DK's since they're so game changing)

i hope i can avoid the weapons like i avoided the class leggys lol (just not a fan so far)

Paladin weapon I think has potential.

I also thought of a hyper value tempo situation. Hitting doppelganger or chain gang booty only make the buff better but will make the next buff stronger too. As each dies they destroy the previous weapon and gives a buff each time.

priest will be nerfed in January anyway after it breaks the game :b

nerf Anduin, a lot of cards will go from decent to great, that battlecry is poorly designed.

The battlecry is fine, it's the OTK potential on top that makes him so ridiculous.

Look at DK Anduin and compare him to Usher and Jaina, two other nine mana DK cards. The power level of Anduin is off the charts compared to his peers, and I can't believe it gets defended.

It's OP when Raza was played.
It's pretty tame when Raza wasn't played.

That's what makes him "balanced", except when the Priest lists are full of card draw and stall and can still survive.

I think one difference between Anduin and other DKs of similar cost is that they are relatively slow the turn you play them and you might be conceding board. Anduin just wipes all the big threats instead, that's not ok.

Finding time to play Jaina is very hard and it cost one more, you can't hero power with it unlike Anduin.

Uther heals you a lot and gives you one attack but you're not killing much with 5 attack, certainly not a big minion. It still cost 9.

Garrosh is the only other 8 cost deathknight and the weapon is nuts but has counterplay, you still take damage by attacking into stuff, it can't kill just about anything. The hero power is relatively weak too.

Not having 5> attack minion is not a reasonable counterplay. Playing around it basically means giving time to your opponent to OTK you or play into some other removal card priest has. It just doesn't work.

So I think if they nerf the battlecry, pulling off the otk stuff will be much harder. If it's difficult for you to find time to play Andiun, you can't OTK as easily. Alternatively they can make it cost 9, that's probably better.

Raza is still a problem since if you have played him, you don't even need a blowout turn from the DK battlecry, you just slam him ASAP to start milking the hero power. If you have not played Raza, you do need to think about when you play Anduin since you lose healing.

He can be nerfed from two sides, from my stream watching experience it's the OTK that triggers most pro players, not the battlecry turn.

Played evolve shaman on casual for fun last night. In the same game, on two different turns I played evolve on a fairly populated board, and both times I got a Doomsayer.

Nerfing Anduin didnt even do much since they had psychic scream too now if the concern is anduin too effective as removal

It's never just one thing, the removal part of Anduin makes it so you will survive to deliver the OTK. Nerf either side and it's gonna affect the power of the card drastically.

The only cheap spell that you gonna play in mage cost 2 and 3 and even the lowroll is quite good AoE

Hell no Peter. We not gonna not putting in Frost Bolt and Primordial Gylph in our mage deck

Correct. I'd imagine the most common cost for spells that mages currently run is 3 (secrets are 3) so I imagine you can pretty much count on getting at least 2, probably 3 damage, which will help you plan around the outcome.

5 Mana 2 dmg AoE really sucks though. Just play Volcanic Potion.

But the hughroll on that card is nuts. 5dmg, 7 dmg AoE? Amazing.

I can't see many mages wanting to give up Frostbolt and Glyph for this, but if you could get away with only running 1 of those this might be good.

If you hit legend, it should be 2 golden commons, golden epic, and a golden rare.

Just now I won against a Mage who only used basic cards whereas I had 4 legendaries in my deck. Don't like these kind of games at all, felt pity for him:(

have a more heavy deck with some early game doesn't look like a bad idea. You just include some secrets, both of the 2 mana minions (the raven from this expansion and the 2/3 that draws a secret), probably fireballs, some frostbolts because they are just mandatory in mages..

somehow it looks like a possibility.

I've got five worthless legendaries waiting to be disenchanted, 8000 dust, and will have enough gold for around 25 packs. That should be enough for me.

Yshaarj is probably in my near future. Might just craft him now.

Close to zero percent win rate against quest mage still, even a 5th turn lethal is not enough it seems. Complete bullshit the whole deck. But I'm sure it's just me.
