Gran Turismo Sport is the third most popular PS4 exclusive in UK, behind Uncharted 4 and Spider-Man

Not surprising for two reasons :
1. UK love racing games ( Horizon 4 doing quite well at the moment ).
2. The game was heavily discounted after a disappointing start ( in comparison to other Gran Turismo games ).
That said, that's still very impressive.

Really glad this game seems to be a success after a rough launch. It is one of my fav games this gen and imo, exactly what the franchise needed

GT is an 800 lbs Gorilla brand and EU love their racing games, err.. UK, the ex-EU nation is also one of them.

Focusing on playerbase instead of profit was a great move, Sport mode is still alive and kicking and IF they manage to release something on PS5 before 2024 people will be there again, maybe at full price this time.

Nah, they need to add a proper single player campaign (that does not require online saving) to Gran Turismo Sport and call it Gran Turismo 7. And continue adding new cars and tracks of course. GT Sport can serve as a great base for GT7.
I was playing this and really enjoying myself up until I naively assumed that being forced to save online meant that the game, y'know, saved my progress online.
Learned that lesson the hard way.
Otherwise, they had at least patched in enough singleplayer content that I never felt like I had to go online to get actual value out of my game, which is nice. Online doesn't appeal to me at all as far as GT is concerned, no matter how apparently well done it is.

Theres a meaty game for anyone picking this up. PD have done a terrific job adding a slew of new content. Online is still revelatory!
It's the best racing game on console so it deserves it. The best online set up too. I love that I can start the game and be in a full online race in minutes.
Yep, I'm a massive GT nut so somewhat biased but for me its the best racer this gen. Its just a joy to play, and coupled with THOSE visuals...wow.
This can still be done within the Sport framework. I want them to keep the online focus though, and not waste any resources on making every car ever made.
