A small compilation of characters I was expecting and that didn't show up. I feel like Picasso Block and the Mario Artist characters were the most unlikely, but also the coolest ones! lol
I would 100% have a Picasso Block to rep Picross and Satebou or Parabou for the Satellaview!

Yeah, that rumor died out pretty fast. Though, there are some missing numbers in a list of modes in one part of text dump. I wouldn't expect to see those happen though, they were probably just straight up cut.
I was incredibly tempted to pull a character from Pokemon Ranger.
I can give you the description, but I don't have any clear pictures of the mode's menu, sorry. Another user on here gave me those pics, and I think they got them from a livestream.
A character from Colloseum and/or XD would've been cool. I feel like less people played those than the Ranger games.
if i was going for obscure pokemon "character" i'd probably go with one of the lesser but still important NPCs from Pokemon Colosseum or Gale of Darkness

For real, though, J-Tier , thank you for the fantastic game, & congrats to our top scorers! I meant to set an alarm for the last round, but I got into some heated matches of Duck Game tonight (I found a mod that lets you play as Bandana Dee, btw, & it was glorious). I appreciate all the effort you put into giving us a fun game to make the wait more fun; I won't forget it!

Probably Geno who was turned down. Can't think of any other character who they would've been adamant to push for given the fervent support there is for the character despite Square's complete and total indifference for the character. I can't see it being Sora given the ball for unilaterally shooting him down wouldn't be in Square's court, assuming he was ever one of the three candidates in the first place.

There really isn't much to them as far as I know. They either aren't Switch compatible or use one of two uniformized chipsets, the Wii (U) one or the new one. New chip adapters allow faster download speeds, are more expensive and don't work with Wii (U). But for playing both kinds should be okay.
