Ok so this is no building Fortnite with cool abilities.

Played 2 games, 6 kills, not bad at all, even managed a second in this last game. Game is fun, graphically it's a little rough, the artstyle is fine, it's just the environments and interiors that are too empty.

This deserves much more attention than it's getting. It's a really fun game. Sure, it's got some balance issues but it's very easy to get into and have fun with.

I feel like this game came and died already, at least on PC. Why is it included in the beta? Or just specifically the crossplay functionality?

Maybe it can gain a new playerbase this way.

I like it pretty well, though the control settings need to catch up with Paladins proper. Hard to get used to something a little jerky after fine tuning my sensitivities over there. And for some bizarre reason I can't rebind my aim button.

Managed a solo win and second place in my first five games, but that's with bots filling in a lot of spots, so...

It does feel like they squandered a lot of early momentum.

The playerbase actually grew last month. Hi-Rez came out and said that they did not expect the influx of players like they got at the launch of the alpha on PC. From what I understand, the game will be cross-save as well as cross-play which is great.

Looking at patch notes recently it looks like they took out all the flavor that made this unique. There were some very broken things when it first hit, but it still had some pretty cool qualities. Now it seems very traditional BR.

That sounds good to me. The building aspect of fortnite is the only reason I don't play it. Would love to give this a shot on the 1x.

It had huge momentum even on Twitch, with more than 100k viewers at peak. Then Hi-Rez made some dubious decisions that basically removed what made this game as unique as it was, and people just left, which is sad. The game right now is really fun, I hope it finds success on console.

It has been out for months on PC. It's just now coming to console. Hi-Rez is focusing on the console versions heavily right now because they feel that they're important to the future of the game.
