Nintendo applies for new Wii, The Last Story, and Fossil Fighters trademarks

They're just renewing trademarks close to 10 years old. They've done that for the past few months. Means nothing.
Doesn't mean anything, but I want a new Fossil Fighters. I need a monster collecting franchise to believe in.
It had some decent potential, but I don't feel like it's ever been given or going to be given the priority or budget to reach it.

Not played it because from the trailer looks so generic to me
In theory, a dinosaur fighting/collecting RPG has potential.
In reality, it's kinda clunky and cheap and generic, yeah.
I'm pretty sure Wii was trademarked more than 10 years and The Last Story less than 10 years ago.
True, The Last Story was renewed in 2011, only 7 years have passed.

That was a joke. He laughed after he said PS4 because it immediately followed when he said "Ask Nintendo" when talking about a port or sequel.
