Dragon Quest Builders 2 lets you build floating platforms, also NPCs can build stuff for you

Many new blocks and furniture that stimulate ideas for building will appear. This includes the "Magne Block," which moves in response to installed magnets, the "Trampoline," which can be used as an athletic course mechanic, and more.

—If there are Magne Blocks moving in response to magnets, you can create a moving platform!

Have Residents Automatically Construct Your Blueprints

  1. Lay out the blueprints.
  2. Place necessary items, such as furniture and blocks, into the storage chest.
  3. Residents will get to work. Items will be withdrawn from th storage chest as needed to properly craft what is shown on the blueprints.
  4. Event a giant castle can be built with ease.

It's crazy to me that this is a game that I'm super excited for. Builders 1 bordered on greatness but had a few too many blemishes, and I loved it anyway. Really hoping this one goes all out.

Yeah, my level of excitement for this game has surprised me. Thinking about it, I think it might be my most anticipated game. In normal circumstances, it would be FFVII-R, but Square has squandered a lot of goodwill with the FF brand over the years.

So indeed, I am excited for DQB2. So much that I am thinking of importing it for Christmas!

I was sold on the idea of it being DQB1 with online coop, but all the stuff they're adding is incredible. Potential GOTY for me there.

Same. Thinking back on 2016, I think Dragon Quest Builders ended up being my GotY for that year, or at least was very high on the list. Dragon Quest Builders 2 could totally end up at the top of the 2019 list. It's going to be a duel with REmake 2.
