It's called marketing. If A4 trailer isn't released until Wednesday, the TGA stream numbers will break all time records.
I didn't reply because it was dumb. I said video games make just as much as movies and you wanted numbers, so I gave them to you. Never said it was more popular than A4 of that. Buhbye. And your "causation vs correlation" comment can go too, because it ain't got shit to do with what I told the other person either.
You're trying to connect a lot of points together in your own manner. It's just a coincidence and you're reading far, far too much into that tweet.
They shipped a massively successful game a few months ago, maybe they're all smiles about that.
Spider-Man. I wonder how easy it would be to mesh games if they go down this route because the games are made by different studios. Could you get an Insomniac Spider-Man playing like he does in that game but appears in the CD Avengers game.

Tons of rumors have been going on about Avengers stuff recently. Insomniac (specifically one of it's developers who actually posts on ERA) posts a cryptic tweet just a few hours before the Geoff announces the Russo Brothers to be attending the show.

"Oh, we have something cool to show you that we've been working on"

*The ticking gets faster and faster and then it stops right at the snap and everything goes black*
*A similar shot in the first Avengers film occurs of Thanos looking back at the camera smiling*
*But he's actually looking at the Avengers*

Let's be honest, it would be far from the most embarrassing thing to happen on the TGA stage.
I imagine such a date announcement would come alongside a trailer for Square's game.

There's literally no other reason for Insomniac Games, developer of the most successful PlayStation exclusive in history, to be all smiles? Come on man lol
It's easy to see patterns where there are none. Insomniac could just as well have a surprise game announcement not related to marvel at the VGAs and the timing of tweets are just a coincidence. We'll see when the VGA comes on.
I feel like that's more a stretch than anything. They just released Spider-Man and they're working on their Oculus Rift big title as well. That's far less likely than them just knowing what's going to be announced and making a cryptic post about it.
All smiles on a game 3 months after release? That doesn't make sense. All smiles because they know a reveal is coming? Makes a ton more sense.

Seriously starting to get frustrating. For a tweet like that to just be made with no follow up or clarification if something happened makes it clear there's more to it. If it was reference to Spider-Man, why not just say that?

Also f* loved Infinity War, whole movie felt like a comic book.
