Another kick while im in first place. Open NAT. Reset everything.

Screw this.

Every other game runs flawlessly but this POS.

I wouldn't be so salty if my posse told me they get kicked too, but that hasn't been the case today or yesterday.

i havent been having many issues regarding money, as awful as the economy is. im not rich (i have 375 dollars or something like that). hunting has been somewhat lucrative considering the time investment. i just lasso and kill some deer with my knife outside of Rhodes and take them to the butcher. its really close by so it doesnt take long to do it. its not really "fun" but its easy

my big issue has been the fucking leveling system. i want to buy a bow. there are clothes i want to buy. why do i have to level up to 96 to buy a leather jacket that provides no stats to my character. what is the purpose

i wanted that damn jacket ever since i saw Sadie wearing it in game and i cant buy it even though i can afford it twice over because my character is 88 levels too low. a complete joke

Various bugs I've encountered, I wonder if any of you experienced the same things. PS4.

1. The mugshot for new character in the player tab is from my previously deleted character. This always happens on a new character from my testing. Meaning character 2 will get mugshot from character 1, character 3 will get mugshot from character 2, character 4 will get mugshot from character 3, so on and so forth.

2. Missing lasso from the inventory wheel or from the inventory overall. I just can't seem to find it. It's supposed to be at the bottom of the item wheel but it's just not there, and there's no sign of it in the inventory too.

3. Camp locations are not where I designated it to be. I specify the game to move the camp to location A, but the game move it to location B or C instead. This happened multiple times, and seeing that the money cost is still activated nonetheless, this is quite troublesome.

I've reported the 1st issue to RockStar yesterday and someone from support told me it's a tethering issue or something and that it's a known bug. I just reported issue 2 and 3 to them as well, let's see their answer when or if they answer it.

What are the bugs and glitches that you folks experienced while playing this?

Did RDR2 kill my PS4? Getting error CE-34878-0 every time I drop into free roam tonight, after playing fine yesterday. Oddly enough, I don't have any issues if I drop into showdown or a race, but the lobbies don't last that long before dying. RIP me.

1 - Cant say, only made one char.

2- The lasso is suposed to be in the weapon wheel (Bottom left slot) the same slot you have trowing knives, so if u see a knife there you need to switch it pressing L2 or R2 to the lasso. If not there then yeah its bugged.

3- Yes, the camp is always changing locations pretty much every time i do a mission.

So I'm making my character and wow... Is it possible to make a character that doesn't look horrifying? You can't even have regular teeth, I mean I get the time period but still.

Played for about 4 hours tonight, just goofing off, but couldn't get a single Stranger mission to work. We could talk to them, then the mission would never start, and because of that, all other activities would be locked out.

Well they do kind of spell it out in the intro that you were chosen to be a patsy because you looked like a criminal. I remember it being pretty much impossible to make anyone attractive in GTA Online either. That said I've seen quite a few in this thread that look almost too good and I'll probably be trying again at it.

Gotta say doing one of the take the fort stranger missions in the middle of the night makes me wish I chose the standard dead eye upgrade.

So earlier in the evening I was earning 3-5 dollars a mission but the last couple ive been earning 60-70 dollars. I'm confused.
From what I worked out, "real" missions with yellow marker pays relatively well. Missions you get from strangers pays $3-5 and essentially are a big waste of time with only incentive of being able to meet some of the characters from singleplayer.

I've had a different experience with randoms than most people seem to be having. I've probably played at least 10 hours but I've only been killed by another player once. Once I even accidentally stole someone else's horse and they didn't attack me, we were both at the butcher and I got on a horse that looked like mine but it was the other player's. They pointed their gun at me but I immediately got off and got on to my similar looking horse so I guess they understood the situation because they didn't shoot.

The only time I was killed I was riding to the valentine butcher with a fully loaded horse carrying at least $20 worth of skins and carcasses. I got shot and assumed it would be like single player where I lose all the stuff on my horse, but it was all still there. It was barely an inconvenience. He parked his horse right were I was going too, so I sold my stuff first. then shot his horse and left.

So I played one of the PvP matches and I got down to the last 2 people, it said sudden death and then I instantly died. Like I didn't get shot with an arrow and died, my character was forced to stop when it said Sudden death and then I was just killed by the game.

Like what?

Rockstar being real literal with "sudden death" there.

Are you on xbox or PS4? I have tried both and so far Xbox seemed wayyy more civil....

I might just be getting too old or something, but getting on and hearing little kids and wannabe thugs talking shit just turned me off to the whole thing.

Are we really vibing with this? First off the combat is worse than the first game and the map design on first impression is tr-ididid-ash. The mechanics, specifically the traversal mechanics, from single player are thrown out the window too it literally just feels like GTA5 Wild West mod. Listening to game journalists handwave the griefing when they'd lose their shit if this was allowed in say, Fallout 76 or something not as critically acclaimed is also ridiculous. Its a beta though so I'll reserve final judgment but I'm not suffering through this until the full release.

Yeah so far the same here though I expect that to change. Worst I've had so far was a guy hunting alligators in the same area I was hunting herons killing more than he can carry left some skins behind. I went to check one out and noticed it was perfect and was wondering to my friend (we were in a party together) why he'd leave a perfect pelt when a shot went right in front of my face. Oops, I guess he was coming back for it and wasn't just leaving it behind. He left me alone as soon as I backed away quickly from the pelt.

That's the kind of interaction I enjoy and wish more people would do. Felt entirely appropriate for his character to do (I was lucky he was nice enough to do a warning shot) and it was kinda cool.

Yeah had the same happen. Talked to NPC and got the cutscene and everything, then back to the world but no markers for the quest and everything else disappeared, too.

I 'fixed' it by rejoining a session using the Online menu where you select Free Roam etc.. But of course all the pelts on my horse were a goner at that point. Fun stuff.

Also even if they work, the stranger missions seem real iffy. Like you trigger the initial cutscene with the NPC but get no active quest marker. Then you approach them again and they're all like "hey that last thing you did worked out great!" and if you're lucky the next mission they give you actually works.. but don't hold your breath.

Played last night for a few hours with friends and we had a blast. Not the best time ever but some cool and fun moments for sure.

But this thing is quite buggy from time to time.

We played a mission where we had to protect 3 waggons until they arrived at their location. One buddy of mine couldn't do anything. We could see him sitting on the waggon but he couldn't move or aim or do anything. After the mission everyone on the map kept falling through the ground over and over. The birds were stuck in the air and glitched around. We had to restart.

Tried to play this morning but everytime I logged my character fell through the floor and the game crashed after. With that and none of my friends wanting to play RDR Online, I think I'll just go back to the solo.

The free roam I was in last night was just a group of a bunch of people running around and hogtying people and stabbing them to death while they all cheered and laughed and said all kinds of fucked up shit while they were killing you.

It was pretty funny to witness but after they killed me like 5 times I quit.

It's entirely random what you start out with.

Balls. I restarted CC about twenty times last night and all I got was some muddy long johns. I have standards, goddammit.

Just like the real Wild West.

RD:O unlocked for me this evening. Went through the character creation and did a mission with three randoms.

I have zero complaints so far, it's pretty much exactly what I expected. I can't wait to run some missions with my friends.
This was my experience in my first session and during my second session I experienced enough trauma to outright quit the game

Game just keeps instantly crashing for me now. Wanted to see if I could get a treasure map whilst I have a hour, but nope, the second the game loads me in I crash. It even fully crashed my PS4 once.

Gotta love how a server crash can wipe out your gains from hunting without warning.

The grind is really bad, and unlocking upgrades is completely nonsensical. Like, why is the pump action shotgun one of the first things you unlock when it costs $440? Given how overpowered it is it seems obviously meant for griefers paying real world money, since a hit anywhere in the upper torso (ie from auto aim) is an instant kill at short to medium range.

I also wish that your character was voiced, especially given how much of a story there is. It's a damn shame because playing GTA:O or Red Dead Online is the only way to play a female protagonist, since Rockstar are apparently allergic to them.

PVP modes are pretty bad. How do you go from something as simple as shootout and grab the bag to all of this gimmicky nonsense.

Where the hell is the normal shit. First game had a pretty dedicated competitive community, but I don't see it happening here in this current state.
