Man, with how things are going this week, what are the odds Trump just flies back to Russia with Putin after G20?

Feels like Mueller was waiting for Trump to turn his answers in before he moved to the next phase, and now that he has them, the other shoes are starting to drop. Cohen first, then Corsi, Stone, and....?

Fun fact:

Jennifer Jacobs @JenniferJJacobs

Trump was boarding Air Force One in August, too, when the news broke that Michael Cohen was pleading guilty. Today, the news hit as Trump's preparing to leave the White House for Argentina for the G20 summit.

Also, gotta wonder..if he has Cohen for lying to Congress, how long until we see Don Jr. suffer the same (delicious) fate?

tbf that day in particular won't be topped unless Trump himself is somehow indicted

Personal lawyer implicates him in campaign finance violations AND his campaign manager goes to prison? Fuck me

The fact that wasn't the political death of him just goes to show you how fucked up his cult is.

I think AF1 definitely has a highly secure internet connection, but Donnie is not allowed to go on Twitter / use it for personal entertainment for security reasons.

From the court docs, per CNN: The Trump Tower Moscow negotiations went on through June 2016. The deal was discussed more than 3 times with Trump. Cohen briefed Trump's family members within the org & took steps in contemplation of Trump's possible travel to Russia in 2016.

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

I don't know Putin, have no deals in Russia, and the haters are going crazy - yet Obama can make a deal with Iran, #1 in terror, no problem!

I'm assuming lying to Congress is the lowest charge Mueller would agree to for all of Cohen's testimony. Mueller probably has much better dirt on the Trumps, and lying to Congress will be an afterthought when charges are finally brought.

Sorry, got my hope dashed way too many times.. not this time

Well I mean none of this will realistically result in the President getting removed from office. It's up to the American public to vote him out in 2020. News of the investigation would presumably affect his chances at re-election, though.

Shit like this and the Trump Tower meeting news seems to hit right when Trump gets on Air Force One. It makes me wonder if it's bugged or if the have a tap on communications.

Man, Trump was still trying to build his stupid Moscow Tower while he was President?! That 1987 visit must have been REALLY good.

It's great to see that Cohen is helping to dig up all the dirt he can,he's actually one of the smarter (In relative terms) people to get caught in all this, rather than trying to hold out for a man who has never given a damn about anybody but himself. Trump's about to find out how much his loyalty is worth.

I rarely feel any sympathy for the people that choose to be part of Trumps staff, but good lord, can you imagine being stuck on a plane for 5+Hours with him after this?

This tweet is truly evergreen given that it was posted a week before the pussy tape, and, well.

He didn't wriggle his way out of that easily. His numbers were underwater for weeks.

He's not invulnerable to defeat, or else his party, with that <4% unemployment rating, wouldn't have lost as much as they did this year and last year.

This is the first news we've ever had on what Mueller was asking Cohen, no?

This is good. Mueller needs to be looking beyond election influence/dnc emails. Financial deals are where they will get Trump

The financial deals in Russia are part of the election interference conspiracy. Trump would like people to think that he only considered becoming president in Summer of 2015, a blatant lie.

I do think the timing of these events coinciding with Donald hopping aboard the Air Force One for long flights does seem to be strategic, and I think that's a very plausible reason. Drop a big time piece of bad news right as he's trapped in a box that the government has control over.

Make this your mantra for every headline that seems like it could have consequences.

The only people who think like this are the people who don't know how to follow an investigation.

Its not a boxing match where Trump is taking lumps and is somehow getting saved by the bell each round.

This is more like a chess match where every move has triggered the next and the case against Trump seems stronger than ever.
