This is why Easy Allies need a studio tbqh (there, we got the obligatory comparison/mention out of the way).

Looking forward to some of them, should be some good indies.

Honestly, once they get a studio in LA, I could totally see KF and EZA collaborating on this next year, because aren't TGAs in LA? Between that and the Huber/Keighley connection, I bet they could get follow-up announcements from the night before on this. That is, of course, assuming PSX doesn't come back next year.

Honestly I think this Greg Miller guy might've accidentally stumbled on the next big thing. The typical showcases are done by people who aren't typically in front of the camera, that is kinda funnys strength, they always seem loose and ready to go, it will probably come across much more smoothly than your typical trade show . I wouldn't be surprised if in 10 years this is their bellcow.
This.
Other companies freeze up and get awkward when something goes wrong. If, God forbid, something goes wrong here, KF will know to laugh it off and keep on moving.

Oh oh oh... I have a great idea... can you have Cool Greg reveal the release date for Concrete Genie?

Also, are you going to announce the date for The PSVR Show Season 2?

Also also, gameovergreggy, you are officially invited to the ribbon-cutting for the NEW Portillo's location in Madison, WI. I have no idea when it is, but consider yourself invited.

Wasn't sure if this would amount to anything but sounds like at the very least it will be a great indie showcase. Looking forward to it.

Yay Tim!

PS: next time you guys take a hiatus from In Review, let Andy and Joey run their "The Office" podcast - I think y'all will be blown away by how many people binge and love The Office constantly.

I mean it really does lend itself to their skillsets perfectly. Hell Kyle and Greg could basically host the thing themselves.

Can't wait to see what they have up their sleeves, imagine it'll get a bit goofy at times lmao. It's a jam-packed three days between Smash launching, the Game Awards, and the KF Showcase/Afterparty.

I can't contain the hype!! Maybe we will get exclusive look at Chad gameplay in Smash!? :p

Keeping expectations in check but I'm sure this will be fun. And it's a big coup for Kinda Funny.

If I was a Rocksteady dev, I'd be careful. I fully expect to see one of them tied to a chair and held at gunpoint by Greg during the stream for a "one more thing" announcement.

I am hyped. Greg has become my favorite voice in the medium and the rest of the crew is hilarious.

I am happy for them - I think this is going to really take off. If Geoff can mention the show at TGA, that would be amazing.

I have no idea what to expect but I'm looking forward to it, should be fun. Worst case scenario, it'll still be a million times better than X018.

gameovergreggy TimGettys Any chance of Patapon 2 Remastered? Cause if we don't hear anything about it soon, I'm going to assume it's dead.

Awesome!

I'm keeping the OP updated as more things get announced, and I plan to go back after the showcase is over and put all the announcements in!

Will the show have ads or will it be straight 63 games to my veins?
Great question. We see this as us carrying a torch and providing a service to the industry we love. As such, we didn't think a sponsor or ads made sense. So, no ads or sponsors. This is to celebrate games and get the word out about some titles that could get lost in the sea of news out there.

HOWEVER, if this turns into something we do again and again, we'll probably end up sponsoring it down the line. We thought this was going to be a helping hand, one-time thing, but there seems to be a need here, so who knows what the future holds! Plus, it's an incredible amount of work, and after planning our small Showcase, I've never had so much respect for Geoff and what he does with the Game Awards. :D

I hope this is succesful and is a thing every year. So many good indie games go un-noticed and since PS4 stopped showing indies after 2015 conferences, I surely missed them.

Plus we get PSVR announcements!!!! That's all I really want.

Keep up the good work Greg!

I'm 100% sure this will have a LOT of cool indie games.

Hope there's something from Eitr and the ncredible line up of RawFury present there.

This is going to be a solid end week for us. Game Awards, smash and this. Can't wait!
