Let's look at WB upcoming games in 2019 and beyond

According to rumour and leaks:
  • Warner Bros Montreal is working on two DC titles
  • A new open world RPG based on Harry Potter is in development at Avalanche Software
  • Netherrealm is probably working on MK XI and after that Injustice 3
  • Rocksteady new title
  • Monolith is most likely working on another Middle-Earth title

6 titles from WB are actively in development and we will see at least one next year, my bet is on either Rocksteady new title and/or Mortal Kombat XI. What do you think about WB past and upcoming games? What are you looking for/do you want to see? I really liked WB 2015 line-up, Dying Light (Dying Light 2 is self-published and developed by Techland), Batman Arkham Knight, Mortal Kombat X and Mad Max were are good title and in general WB output is really good but the last 2 years were pretty dire, only Injustice 2 and Shadow of War in 2 years.

If Monolith is doing another LotR game I hope they move away from Mordor, they managed to make Middle Earth look boring as hell, and that's not easy.

High expectation for the new Harry Potter game.
This licence has such a big potential, I can't wait to make pranks and have fun at Hogwart.

Dying Light seems very promising, but I'm not setting expectations too high since I didn't enjoy the (gameplay of) first one all that much. The Harry Poter game is something I really want to be good, but I won't my hold breath. Probably very safe, streamlined and mainstream. Currently, I'm looking forward to the Hitman 2 expansions most.

Might also be time for WB San Francisco and WB Boston to show something.

They might be focused on mobile games though, but with WB need to expand its possible that they have something interesting to show.

WB has the Westworld licence right? Maybe one of these studios has something Westworld related in dev.

Glad I wasn't the only one.

I am just here to see what mtx WB are gonna push out and which third rate eastern european dev they are gonna farm out their PC ports(if there are even gonna be any) to. As we've seen with Mordor, when WB go in they go ALL in.

Pretty difficult for me to get excited for any WB published game anymore. I got very cautious after seeing what they did in the last years.

Rocksteady announcing their new game before WB Montreal has got to sting. Hopefully they're firing on all cylinders going into next gen though.

Taking a guess I think the next Lego Superhero game will be Lego Spider-Man and Venom. That is the major 2019 lego marvel lineup and they have a Lego Spider-man animated feature coming to home video.

WB is honestly one of my favorite publishers. I've loved a lot of their games this generation: Shadow of Mordor/War, Injustice 2, Mortal Kombat X, Dying Light, etc.

I'm VERY excited to see their next wave of games.

I'm sure RockSteady will fire a super cool game. But hell, that Harry Potter game is tickles my balls... Leak video was awesome.

I'm interested in everything except NRS' MK. Even Harry Potter I'll try out if its really a game where you can customize your own build. I've wanted a game where the primary character is a mage, and it's just different types of mages.

If WB Montreal is working on a DC Bat Family game, I wanted that more than Arkham Knight. And Monolith Software's LotR...well, it's cool. I wish it were a new IP, but WB doesn't wanna do those.
