Bulletstorm is amazing. I cannot actually believe how much I loved this game.

The only issue that it has, gameplay-wise, is that it forces you into conventional FPS duck-behind-a-wall gameplay to regenerate your health. Creative kills should give you a fraction of your health back; the more creative you are and the more kills that you rack up, the more health you get back. That would really make some of those late-game kill rooms easier to manage, especially when enemies are pouring in from all sides.

Like, I don't give a fuck about the main character's desire for revenge against the racist, sexist nutbar general at all. Just give me more bad guys to rush.

I said in another thread that I got the feeling from this game that other people said they got from DOOM in terms of how it (mostly) wants you to play by pushing forward and staying on offense. All I know is that this is the ONLY FPS with a campaign that I actually enjoyed enough to beat in the last decade, no hyperbole.

New games for December should be announced today. I'm hoping for Fallout 76 and PUBG to make it The Most Broken Lineup in PS Plus History ;)

I'm hoping for one big hitter - probably a sony exclusive like uncharted 4.

It would also be nice to see a few big games for the ps3 before they stop next year. Would love gran turismo 6 on the ps3 hdd.

Hmm. Educated guesses of possible contenders.
I'm going to go with Kingdom Hearts 1.5, Knack II, Dying Light & WipEout Omega.

The Uncharted Collection or Lost Legacy would also be great. Sony should go all out with the games this month, attract Black Friday and Christmas console buyers to pick up PS+

I'm hoping for a short but good game like bulletstorm again. I can't see Sony putting anything amazing that will keep you occupied for long because they want everyone buying games in December not playing free ones.

I'm hoping it's nothing I own!

Everybody's Golf and Gravity Rush 2 would be cool, with Shovel Knight as a bonus.

It's great. I agree with your comment about health too - tying heath increase to skillshots or whatever they're called would have been a neat idea. I really like the characterisation of Gray and Ishi in the game - it's dumb and loud but I also think there's quite a lot of subtle undercurrent to how they're written and they share a strong brotherly bond.

No way will PUBG be a freebie. They're going to make crazy money from selling it.

I've just checked PS4 games in December 2016 and 2017:

Stories: The Path of Destinies
Invisible, Inc

Darksiders 2 remaster
Kung Fu Panda

So prepare for a shitty month, I guess.

I could see one of the big games being something family friendly considering the number of kids who'll get gifted a console at christmas, the fact Kung Fu Panda was one of these last year and that their big 2 for November were both M/18 rated games. I'll make a wild prediction for something like Monopoly.

I haven't yet opened my Black Friday games because one will probably end up being free. Hopefully not though.
(L.A. Noire and Burnout Paradise Remastered)

I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict Rise of the Tomb Raider and Far Cry Primal.

I finished original Knack because of plus offer - guess it's time for second part! Also TGA is ahead, Knack 2 would be just in time for inevitable Knack 3 announcenent.

I hate everything about this because I own all three games.
Lol. I have Shovel Knight on PC, but I really want it on PS4 for some weird reason. Not to mention, it has sold like crazy so by now I think a free limited time offering would be appropriate.

Darksiders 2 is actually quite good. Kung Fu Panda wasn't that exciting but it's a great family fun game so it was a smart choice to offer it over the holiday season.

Stories was good and Invisible, inc is incredible so you shut your dirty mouth.

Agree, they are both excellent games and much better than the following month. I always prefer a month with 2 good indie games instead of a shit AAA. So my wishes for this month would be games like Steamworld Dig 2 and Hyperlight Drifter (even i already owing both on PC).

If it isn't a recognizable game, it is shit!

That is how it usually goes for most. ;P

Yeah. This is definitely true =S

I actually think the months with indies and smaller titles are almost always better than when they meet the 'retail' games quota. I'll take Invisible Inc over Mafia 3 any day.

On the Xbox side, it's always sad seeing genuinely good games get review bombed when they're given with gold, since they're not big budget enough.

Agreed.

I just want good stuff that I hopefully haven't played already.

That Kung Fu Panda game ended up being one of my most played Plus games. My friends were over for a couple days and we got desperate for local multiplayer games, Kung Fu Panda was a surprisingly fun Smash Bros knock off.
