What are your most radically different favorites?

Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII

Animal Crossing and Ikaruga

Fallout 4 and New Vegas. Fallout 4 for its combat, visuals and atmosphere, and voice acting. New Vegas for its roleplaying aspects and many many quests. Played both more than 100 hours.

Tetris and GTA5

Shin Megami Tensei Raidou Kuzunoha series
and
Monster Hunter series.

FFT / Psychonauts / Capcom vs SNK 2

Danganronpa and God of War

Super Mario World and F-Zero GX

Undertale and Monster Hunter.

Beat Saber and Persona 3

Skate 3 And Mass Effect 2

Two games in my top 10, that have absolutely nothing in common other then the fact that they both humans in it and have semi open world areas.

Zelda
Half-Life+Portal
"Ueda Stuff" (ICO/SotC/TLG)

Yeah, those are my top games/franchises.

Also can't extend to more than those "three".
Also the order is arbitrary, but also not really. And it is unchangeable.

And don't ask me for just two.

Dark Souls and Stardew Valley

Red Dead Redemption and Lumines.

The Last of Us - a story driven, mature rated, technically impressive, emotional 15 hour adventure
140 - a minimalist rhythm platformer that can be beat in 30 minutes

The Witcher 2 and Chrono Trigger, but then I do suppose they're both highly replayable linear RPG's with multiple endings.....suppose they aren't really that different after all..

Maybe RE4 and MMX2 would qualify?

Probably Bloodborne and Ristar

Saturn Bomberman and Virtual On

The Last of Us and Ocarina of Time.

Two games among my favorites of all time.

Paper Mario and Animal Crossing are among my favorites.

So are Bloodborne, P.T. and Resident Evil 7.

I love cute/comfy shit, and I love horror. Pretty contrasting I suppose.

Quake and Minecraft.

I've been playing Red Dead 2 and SFV back to back all month.

Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain and Peggle.

Both fantastic, compulsive games.

My favorite and second favorite games of all time are Ace Attorney 3 and Smash Bros Melee. They really couldn't be much more different than they are, with one being pure single player story and the other being no story all action with a multiplayer focus.

Probably Zelda Marjora's Mask and Rhythm Tengoku (GBA). I guess there is a certain quirk factor... but very different.

Sly cooper and God Of War.

Game Dev Story and Demon's Souls. I've been hooked on both for years.

my two favorite genres are shmups and point-and-click adventures so you can pretty much grab any title from either genre
