Good time to point out Unity is free if you didn't make $100,000 in revenue or funding the last fiscal year, and UE4 is free below $3,000 revenue per quarter.

This raises a point for me. People are always posting about wanting indie devs to move on from 2D, when are they gonna start making more 3D games, and the reality is it's probably not unrealistic to imagine we'll see some quality indie games with PS1 tier graphics. Which is fine by me.

Looking at some of their history, this is probably the most ambitious game they've made so far. Everything else is licensed mobile stuff that doesn't require much in the way of 3D graphics until their recent racing game and pool/air hockey games. I don't really see an issue with it being offered.

You never know, the devs might just be new to making games. It could just be a side project they're releasing to the store with no sales expectations. Just to get some more experience.

"Looks like a PS1 game" is usually some typical hyperbolic shitposting trolling, but in this case.... my lord the PS1 one looks arguably better. :|For comparison sake.

Looks like a low quality PS2/PS1 game. I'm not really concerned how much with how it looks though, it's kinda charming to me. I'm more wondering if it plays decently.
Someone with skills should edit the Switch reveal trailer to have those people playing the Switch on the basketball court playing this game instead.
The ground texture is not even scaled properly
expect gutter trash gameplay tbh
Ohh definitely that's what I'm expecting. I'm just not a huge fan of "lets all get together and bash this game" unless it's blatant asset flipping.
