All dogs don't have fleas.Lay down with dogs, wake up with fleas.
...and well rested, I guess.
You give women a stinky smell and fleas. Dogs are the whores of the animal kingdom.
I'm glad someone said it.
It's almost as if there were a third variable influencing both!Women who are sound sleepers tend to be more likely to let dogs on the bed?
I know they have data for cats but still...
I'm not sure what you are getting at here, this is far from some great study it's based on self reported data either wayIt's almost as if there were a third variable influencing both!
nah, i'm a jerk. there is nothing wrong with sleeping with cats or dogs. it is as bad having them in your bed as it is in your couch, so in the end they win by sheer cuteness and we all oblige having near us in our leisure..
What's the point in having a dog if you can't cuddle itI'm glad someone said it.
I'd hope this is something people would be up front about in dating so I know to avoid them.
Nobody tell my girlfriend this. I got the dog out of the bedroom cause it sheds more than any dog I've come across in my life. I can't sleep when it's been in the bed because I can feel its hair all over me.
What a disgusting and weird world view. I sleep with my dog any night, and anyone who thinks like this is not someone I'd associate with at all, much less date, so yah I guess best to be up front to save everyone involved some time.I'm glad someone said it.

This post is criminally underrated
*cat brigade alarm*Every time dogs come up on ERA some real weirdos come out of the woodwork.
Man, we live on a lake but its winter. What about baths?Take him for a few long swims, a couple of times a month - the water takes the dead hair out so he won't be constantly shedding.
Really? My cat, Gary, sleeps under my blanket Every night in between my legs and doesn't move until my alarm goes off. Maybe he is just weird.
Emotional support for dealing with the prospect of not having a dog friend.

Mine dislikes being under the blankets, but it's basically the same. He keeps my feet toasty, which I only sometimes appreciate.Really? My cat, Gary, sleeps under my blanket Every night in between my legs and doesn't move until my alarm goes off. Maybe he is just weird.
Or just groom him properlyTake him for a few long swims, a couple of times a month - the water takes the dead hair out so he won't be constantly shedding.
