So what's up with Sora having KH2 attire in what looks to be San Fransokyo? Are we thinking alternate costumes are in or something?
The Keyblade gives access to Second Form, which puts Sora in his KH2 outfit for a limited time.
It's called Second Form. It's the form that's tied to the Kingdom Key and lets Sora use KH2 attacks.
I thought this keyblade was counted as another keyblade and not just a skin of KK which I thought hinted at some form of customization. Figures.
But we're not too far from the last trailer and December has several more up its sleeves so I'm not all that disappointed.
Ah what do I do... I preordered KHIII on Amazon forever ago when that weird glitch happened and it's dropped to $40. Now they're saying they're also giving out $10 certificates for preorders, but I kind of want the deluxe edition and if I do that it would be cheaper to get it from Best Buy since I still have GCU (at least I don't think it expires yet)

Yeah, you don't even have to touch the gacha game after the tutorial. The Classic Kingdom Stuff is in its own menu separate from the main game on the main menu.

we don't know how keyblades will work in KH3 yet. It might not be stat based like previous KH games, since this would make a lot of keyblade transformations obsolete quickly.
It could be similar to the pre-order bonus keyblades where it's just a reskin of existing keyblade.
The game has Keyblade switching as a mechanic. I don't think Keyblades will be throwaway stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if Keyblade leveling is a thing in KHIII So every Keyblade will retain its usefulness throughout the game and not become obsolete.

The real question is what Starlight will do re: transformations. What would be ridiculously amazing? It randomly transforms into a Foreteller Keyblade and lets you use that Foreteller's moves.
You don't have to reach those scores in one playthrough of the mini-games, you accumulate score so it's more like grinding until you reach the necessary numbers. Took me like a full day of doing it while listening to podcasts on like a Saturday haha.
I expect it to show part of it, like how they did with 2.8 during TGS trailer.

yes, considering he usually puts out the trailer like a week before the actual event itself.
They are calling "New Footage" for the video on the 10th, it could be anything. Even the Opening would be "new footage".
that's true but his preface was "trailers" before all 3 stuff. So it's basically "trailer with new footage"
It's still possible that it could be opening but it's not going to be raw footage or something.

Yeah, makes sense. I guess our last chance to have a new world reveal is on the 10th then, after that there won't be room for any more reveals since we will get the final trailer.

Tbh me neither anymore since the game is skiping TGA. BTW even though we will get a Final Trailer this month we will still definitely get a Launch Trailer nexrt month with even more spoilers lol
I'm glad that I don't have to spend time keeping an eye on The Game Awards now. I was not big on having to keep an eye on it at all since it really isn't my cup of tea, and since they are on a Thursday and probably around mid-day - late afternoon AEST, I'll be asleep and then getting ready for work so I can devote my time that rather than wasting my mobile data while on the move lol.
But even with these dates set in stone (and no doubt the 10th in Japan so the 9th in the US which is where I assume a lot of Era members in this thread are from) we don't have a set time so who knows, might still be caught out with having to watch it on data while traveling but at least that'll just be a 3-ish minute trailer rather than a 3-4 hour show.

I think the final trailer is the launch trailer.
I wouldn't completely write out TGA just yet, Geoff and the publishers showing stuff there have veen pretty secretive fow whatever reason. Could be another case of the 10th being extended version. But who knows, they def could be skipping it.
I feel like if someone was going to be there then it would have been mentioned by Nomura in the tweet above, especially since they're working on getting the trailers finished. We know that they won't bring these trailers up for the show because otherwise they would have dated one of them for the 6th instead and could have just pushed it back since they mentioned that the dates could change.
I think the opening might be shown on Jan 18 since that's when the OP song will be released.
It's a shame we are getting the opening sooo close to the release date. DDD and 0.2 ones were released a little sooner.
They think that because they believe the development comments made at D23 earlier this year at face value. It was roughly said that there are three stages of development, early, middle, and late, and there was roughly three worlds per development stage.
To achieve that, and not counting the 100 Acre Woods in these "world pods", there would have to be two Disney worlds left in the middle and late stages of the game.
Add onto that we are missing three Princesses of Heart and people think there will be a third Princess world and an "obscure" Disney world left to reveal
It means we are getting one more new world at most. No chance of 2 more worlds at this point.
Jesus!! This stickied thread keeps reminding me that I have to do a full series playthrough by 1/25. Why? Why do I put these things off? I did the same thing for GoW, and I ended up burning out by 4/20. I still haven't played the new GoW.
