I hope my i7-4770 and 970 combo runs it well. I need this computer to run stuff for a few more years before upgrading lol
I know the feeling! xD
It's still going strong though!

Jump in man. 0 was my first one and I had a blast and really enjoyed the story.I have never played a Yakuza game before. Is it good to start with this one?
Have you played Yakuza 0? It's not just AAA, but AAAA title because it's Awesome AAA. But yeah, Odyssey is a safe bet if you need some AAA junk to mix it with indies, also I'll vouch for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, it's a decent game too.
I never played Yakuza games before and Y0 is currently my GOTY 2018, so yes.
Jumped in blind on Yakuza 0, you guys convinced me. Let's see if it's indeed a japanese masterpiece like folks use to say.Jump in man. 0 was my first one and I had a blast and really enjoyed the story.
It's pretty wild that they wanted to avoid the 30% Steam cut but end up discounting it like 50% within weeks.
Thanks! If you aim for more than 60FPS, then yes, CPU will probably bottleneck you. But if you are fine with 60FPS, then it should be okay, I'm on i5-3570k with GTX1080ti and it's fine for 4K/60
About 19 then like 23 days until the Winter sale
I wouldn't play 76 if I was paid to. Like Jeff from giant bomb my review is: Don't play this piece of shit game.
Yea man! Game gets pretty serious quickly. Enjoy the rideJumped in blind on Yakuza 0, you guys convinced me. Let's see if it's indeed a japanese masterpiece like folks use to say.
what's the name of that game where the story is told entirely through the player packing? it's 4-5 scenes implicitly showing a bank heist. it's very minimalist but super interesting narratively, and I can't remember what it's called. might be a game jam game, honestly.
It is a game jam game, I can't find it at the moment. It was a collaboration between two notable devs, something like Brendan Chung and somebody else, or Derek Yu and somebody else.what's the name of that game where the story is told entirely through the player packing? it's 4-5 scenes implicitly showing a bank heist. it's very minimalist but super interesting narratively, and I can't remember what it's called. might be a game jam game, honestly.
Damn. That competition has me excited for the future.Tried to start south park fractured but whole but nope I had to update uplay first. Ok whatever it's been a while since I used it so no big deal it'll go fast and I can play. Oh but nope now I have to go through 2 step verification, which I don't even remember setting up for uplay but fiiiiine at least I can play after those two minor annoyances. NOPE now it can't connect to ubisoft servers and offline mode is not working for whatever reason.
I'm fucking blown away by the level of competition on display here.
You sont need to set up 2 step on uplay.Tried to start south park fractured but whole but nope I had to update uplay first. I'm guessing because it's the first time I'm trying to play the game so it needs to be activated online before it works in offline mode. I can see in offline mode the game is not yet showing in my library.

Agents of Mayhem isn't too bad so far. We'll see if it ends up forcing me to do side content to progress pass just taking over strongholds. Which is typically my big complaint with open-world design these days.
Agents of Mayhem is alright. Not perfect, but it is an okay game to play through once if you have free time and got it cheap. Also, it has Ansel support, which means it can't be completely terrible:

I dont have it set up myself and i waz unable to set it up twoce when it asked.me.before.
I had the opposite situation with uplay. When I got my new laptop I went at least a month with no other clients but steam and I was dreading installing other clients. Uplay was completely painless, I was shocked it remembered me, I somehow had friends integrated lol. Game I needed to launch worked fine. I was pretty shocked at how smooth it was and I had not logged in on my laptop ever and not on my older laptop in a few months.
So if you broke it you better fix it.
I wanted to get my assasins creed origins game set up later tonight!
I don't know if this was brought up but under my VIP deals on GMG I'm seeing shadow of the tomb raider with all DLC (croft edition) for $38 which is a stupid good deal considering the base game is on sale for $30 everywhere right now including on console. They also have Nier for $25 and DQXI for $35, both of which I think are new low prices for the PC versions.
I really don't remember setting it up to begin with so next time I can get on I'm probably going to take it out.
I haven't used uplay on PC in months so I have no clue what happened! To be fair this is the first big problem I've had with the service in a few years but when it does happen it just reminds me of how pointless this all is and could have been avoided if they just used Steam. I should mention I bought the game on Steam so this extra layer of DRM is more frustrating.
Stop posting new deals! I thought I had survived the sales! I feel like Tomb Raider complete will get to 25 soon enough. I've also seen the complete edition quietly getting cheaper off steam.
Yeah I buy Ubisoft on steam as well. Don't mind uplay as I rarely see it. Ironically I interact with it more on console to redeem their free silly outfits and weapons I then never use lol.
Origin bothers me more than uplay now because their UI organization is a mess now and the over advertising of access makes it a pain to even purchase things , on top of it never remembering my login. But amazon beat origin and I got madden on pc finally so I guess I'll be getting familiar with that client.
Amazon also beat psn digital prices on things. Best Buy had a great sale for consoles too, still shocked hitman 2 dropped so fast and dragon quest got a great discount on PS4.
Now I still have to install the blizzard client which I am also dreading.

Okay, joking aside, that's a valid point, I've seen many times screenshots with pretty nasty story spoilers without spoiler tags or even shitty memes and fake pictures that were uploaded as screenshots instead of artworks for whatever reasons. Since there are no strict rules for community stuff like "you can't post spoilers" or "you can't upload cosplay photos as screenshots from the game", showing screenshots directly in users library might cause a lot of problems, I agree. To be honest, I don't really care about butts. And I don't mind seeing my friends' pictures. But I don't want to see spoilers, memes, and racists directly on my game pages from the Steam "community".
Speaking of two-step verification: Enable two-step verification, people!
Steam uses the Steam mobile app, PSN uses SMS, many others (Ubisoft, EA, Microsoft, Amazon, Dropbox ...) use Google Authenticator. I recommend Authy for the latter group, which is available on both desktop (Win, macOS, Chrome browser) and mobile devices and syncs across all your devices. It's a bit of a chore to set it all up but with the all-digital utopia we live in now it's seriously worth it.
HOT DAMN, DQ XI for $35 is basically stealing. That's like $0.35/hour for a game that honestly you don't actually need to play for 100 hours, but its rad if you want to.
Then we wait until summer because nobody buys off-sale anymore.
Weeeellll you could try the ol' redeem via vpn trick....
Man seriously, fuck Square Enix and Namco Bandai for not having their JRPG on STEAM in Japan.
