I felt Legends especially were very good last year... as they were an emotionally potent moment for the Arrowverse.

Yeah, they didn't even have part of the team there at all until towards the end.
I do like Mick to be there though for his reactions to things, e.g. Killer Frost.

but if next years crossover is a 5 episode show crossover or back to 4

supergirl, batwoman, arrow, flash they probably go with this one to do 2, 2 hour nights again

or supergirl, batwoman, arrow, flash, legends.

Zari and Amaya didn't have much to do, you're right... but they were the newbs...and got caught up with Killer Frost's ice slide up to the Waverider... it's mainly the alum Legends
Don't forget Atom saved Supergirl (My Cousin will find you!)

Nate even caught Supergirl at the end

I wonder how much of a logistical nightmare that is. It might be easier to do another 3 episode crossover instead and then maybe the other two can have a small crossover with one another.

Which reminds me, Titans and Doom Patrol aren't part of the Arrowverse, are they? Titans still hasn't come out on Netflix, so I haven't seen it but based on the trailer, it seems more in line with the serious tone of Black Lightning than the goofy melodrama of the others. If that's the case then, like Black Lightning, it's probably better off in its own continuity.

titans and doom patrol are apart of the DCEU app and are never leaving that in America. They are on netflix international and those shows are apart of the titanverse and will be doing their own crossovers and what not

they kind of figured out how to do it. The episode where they film the crossovers usually dont feature the main characters of the shows that much. This week flash is mostly a backstory episode on cicadia, and arrow is gonna have a similar situation, and supergirl did it this week where it mostly a manchester black and james episode.

I know that but being on different networks didn't stop Supergirl and Flash from having a crossover before Supergirl moved to CW.

CBS technically owns CW, so the crossover was easier.

As for Titans/Doom Patrol to enter Arrowverse.. they are all owned by Berlantiverse... that is doable, but not likely to happen.

So question. How will they react to 90s Flash? I mean, he's not Jay. But he looks just like him.
Same way they reacted to Jay looking like Barry's dad. They'll shrug and move on.

Jay was the Flash on his Earth. 90's Flash is the Flash on his Earth/Universe/Elseworld/whatever. Doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of things.

A big one, even when the four shows are in the same city. Black Lightning being filmed in Louisiana would be even more so, if it were included probably like a more difficult version of when Barry showed up on Supergirl in its first season. Thankfully I don't think there's much clamoring for Black Lighting to be soiled with the rest ArrowBeeboverse.

Some talk on it.
"It is confusing, story wise." Patton revealed. "Half the time shooting, I have no idea what's going on, where it is in the story. I constantly need someone to be like 'What just happened? Where were we?' It's a lot. I really hope you guys enjoy those crossovers, because they damn near kill us every single year."

"We shoot all of them at the same time." Lotz added. "It's not like we shoot Flash's and then Arrow's and then Legends', and then Supergirl's. They're all happening within the same two weeks. We shoot a two-hour movie in ten days."

"You start, you wake up and you're on Flash for a couple hours, and then they're like 'Okay, you've gotta go over to Legends. Legends needs you.'" Patton continued. "And then Legends is backed up, so you're waiting. And it's just absolute insanity for the cast and crew and everyone. I don't know how we do it."

Guggenheim or someone talked further elsewhere but I can't remember how exactly the discussion went but they made some changes this year to how they work on it.

And yeah, Titans is off in its own universe like Black Lightning but with like zero chance of there ever being a cross over.

So question. How will they react to 90s Flash? I mean, he's not Jay. But he looks just like him.

And he's also Barry Allen. I imagine it'll be similar to explaining Jay but with more shenanigans from a different Earth's time line.

I understand the logistics-but it really is a shame Black Lightning/The Titans/Doom Patrol can't all show up and have fun.

I love the crossovers

But I think they should try something new

Have it be like an off season movie because a lot of times weird in the grand scheme of the season long arc especially since usually right before mid season finale

Titans shoots in Toronto, a 5 hr flight from where the rest of CW DC shoots in British Columbia. And they are all owned by the Berlanti company... while possible, not likely.

Cheers for the answers. I guess I assumed since WB co-owns CW they might be able to work together but I guess they'll be completely separate then. That's fine, these crossovers are fun but I generally tend to lean towards not being a fan of extended universes.

As for the article, yep that sure sounds like a nightmare. And that's just the actors perspectives, you've also got to take into account the different writing teams, production crew, etc.

Trying to do a crossover between a network show and a streaming show would be a massive headache.

What could happen though is that Barry hops through dimensions in an episode of The Flash and he winds up in the Titans world with them guest starring. That's at least within the realm of possibility.

Berlantiverse is vast... if word upon high was to prioritize DC in all its TV properties, they could make it happen, but it's one of the least likely things to happen

I'm quite looking forward to this.

The only time I bother with these Berlanti shows are these crossovers.

The Flash is worse than Black Suit Superman... at least the latter doesn't pretend he doesn't kill and pretend he's above it all
