Right, but see... Enchantress would've still been there and Steppenwolf theoretically would've been beaten at the same time as Incubus in order to get him over to Justice League, because we know that Steppenwolf was integral to Zack's early plans.

You're right, it doesnt really improve anything. Just makes it more interesting i guess.
You can also see why he didnt go with Joker as the main villain given the original plan. They really needed to put more thought into it all.
Which, to be clear, was entirely WB's fault. The man needed more time to do that film. Ayer can do better work and Suicide Squad was in his wheelhouse.
All these thing coming out just shows that SS was conceptually a bad idea and Ayer shouldn't have been the one to bring it to the big screen. We can say he needed more time, but all this new information coming out is terrible as well. Ayer, nor Snyder as it seems, understood Suicide Squad and its function.

It's a neat look at Darkseid at where the history lesson was gonna take place. But with the "canonical" JL being what it was and New Gods happening, however Darkseid would've factored into things wouldn't anymore.

I'm feeling very confident that Aquaman is going to be an incredible film.
I'm also feeling very nervous that the GP has checked out of DCEU films that aren't Wonder Woman, Batman or Harley in title.

They definitely have an effect on my level of enthusiasm going in.
Just ehh for me, I'm glad when folks enjoy stuff for them more than me. Never been swayed by other's opinions, personally.
Typically if they're negative about something I'm interested in, I don't care. If they're positive about something I'm interested in, I still don't care. If they're positive about something I wasn't interested in, then maybe I pay attention. But that's pretty rare so as a whole they're not very interesting.
I think they're interesting if you're into discussing the business side of things as they can give some idea of what buzz is like and how reviews will shape up, which affects box office.
Do they do anything for my personal interest? No, not really.

Aquaman getting good reaction will strengthen comic book movies in WB's book. You don't want them to get cold feet again.
Now that the embargo is up, I can give my 100% objective impressions: Aquaman is a movie starring Jason Momoa as Aquaman. It is directed by James Wan. Amber Heard co-stars as Mera. Patrick Wilson plays the antagonist Orm aka Ocean Master. The motion picture is 143 minutes in length. It is a movie based on the DC property Aquaman.
Well, with Batgirl not being a main character in the movie... I guess that makes sense? He better be in the Batgirl and Batman movies though.
