Metal Gear Solid and Parasite Eve getting trademarked in close proximity of one another?

What if the Bluepoint remake turns out to really be a Metal Gear Solid title but instead of the first one it's 4?
Wasn't that teased with a logo way back? I guess it was quietly cancelled. Or did I make it up?
They said that logo was only celebrating the 2 year anniversary of its release lol
But I do think they were in pre-production at some point, until The Phantom Pain fiasco.

I wouldn't buy a new MGS game without Kojima. MGS is Kojima, & Kojima is MGS. I'm not angry, I'm not being toxic fanboy, I'm just not interested, didn't like the way Kojima was treated, and will be voting with my wallet.
A remake of the original MG and MG2 would be interesting. Games are old enough that I don't feel would be any backlash if things are changed
Remake of the Crash and Spyro Trilogies happened this gen, Shadow of Colossus, Resident Evil 2 and Final Fantasy VII too. It's not insanely unrealistic to hope for something that is within the realm of possibilities.
I think the problem with porting Silent Hill 1-4 has been the source code being lost for some or all?
If Konami can pull shitty HD collections out of their ass of 2 and 3, I want to believe with some money and Bluepoint, the dream is not dead...

This is what I figured but, the Parasite Eve one is bothering me cause that's not in the PS Classic in Europe.
I believe the HD collections were shitty precisely due to the dev team working with unfinished code rather than the source code because it was lost.
I think the best we could hope for is a full multiplatform remake of the first game, and OG Xbox BC of 2 and 4 in 4K.
