I don't want to derail any longer, but why not just include the sales tax in the price the way it works in other places? Seems dumb.
Just like it seems dumb to have a tax that you have to pay by yourself after buying something, instead of having it be part of the transaction.

To be fair, their entire ideology is based around NOT being alpha males. So any slimy, underhanded, shifty behaviour is very much fitting with their self-identified social stereotype.
It's about the drive behind it. Not necessarily the tax thing. Everyone here will agree people need to pay their taxes, and Im sure most everyone here pays their own. However its the context of this that turns it into a hate movement. Were it not for that it would indeed be a shoulder shrugging "whatever". People report people all the time for not having proper licenses, taxes, etc this isn't new. It's the people and the motivation behind it that's new.
I say that to say: Not supporting these shitheads doing this doesn't mean you don't support people paying the tax they should. That's a logic trap people can fall into with these kinds of threads.
