Uninvited, more than one million Han Chinese people have reportedly moved into the homes of Uighur Muslim families to report on whether they display Islamic or unpatriotic beliefs.

Sent to homes in Xinjiang province by the Chinese government, American anthropologist Darren Byler said they were tasked with watching for signs that their hosts' attachment to Islam might be "extreme".

Man, I wonder what it'll be like here in the Philippines in 10 years. Our president signed so many "deals" with China

Ok why is China doing this to begin with? What's going on? Why this population?
They target anything challenges the central government, and organized religions in particular tend to run contrary to that type of system.

They've targeted their own massive Christian populations, and or course the Buddhists in Tibet.

Muslim Uyghurs are typically seen as separatists by the central government, and are associated with a movement that wants to see their region (Xianjang) recognized as East Turkistan.

As a result, the government sees this as a severe affront to their regime, and several separatist attacks have been used as an excuse to justify this recent spate of horrific human rights violations against the Uyghurs.
