Ok I'm gonna be serious now. I'm a 27 year old guy who sometimes enjoys some turn up music, this 69 guy sometimes makes good music for the car/gym/parties. I've never defended his questionable actions and he already faced trial for what he did and they gave him 4 years of probation. I'm in no place to judge him or honestly really care about him as a person.

The court decided he deserved 4 years of probation. You're free to not listen to his music because of his actions, I totally understand and respect that. Just because I listen to his music doesn't mean I support his pedophile behavior.

On one hand, more aggressive trap has been a wave for a while now, so it's not surprising to see someone like 6ix9ine take the trend and make it fully commercial. You can look at groups like City Morgue who largely influenced 6ix9ine's sound directly do it more effectively on a less commercial scale, or more generally the Florida hip-hop scene to see agressive/borderline-industrial trap becoming increasingly popular
On the other hand, man said "Blicky, stiffy uh" and went platinum, so I don't know exactly what the appeal is beyond decent production and mildly catchy choruses
