Literally the name of the op. Make a lamenting post complaining about dd if you want, but it's beside the point of this thread.
Then do so.I didn't ask. Just seeing all the reviews really makes me want to play the game.
Got the physical copy of the game, why are there 2 codes in the Revelation 2 card?
Best version of the game.
If you link your account do you still have a gray square even if you're offline?
(Top left)
Edit: It's the RE.net profile icon. Connect accounts. Close the game and start it back up and pick Raid (Online).
Once you do that the icon will carry over across any mode of rain (online or off). Much better than a gray box.
What control method are peeps using? I'm just on default using the pro controller when docked. I heard you can have Wiimote style RE4 controls using the joycons. Has anyone tried this, and if so is it any good?
I asked the same thing. No clue. And the first code doesn't do anything for you right?

Same deal here. Tried the first code first and nothing. Second code was fine.
is that first code maybe something you can redeem on RE.net for some item drops or something?Same deal here. Tried the first code first and nothing. Second code was fine.
Try entering it on a 3DS, maybe it's Mega Man Legends 3!
Na. They're about Zelda skyward sword vs tp on the Wii, if that makes sense. Not quite as good, but as close as one is going to get and so close the difference isn't going to be that noticeable unless you're playing a point'n click game or an rts.
Glad I'm not the only one.
Why is the "nonfunctional" code the first one they list? I entered it twice (to make sure I didn't mess up a numeral) before trying the 2nd one (which worked, and downloaded Rev2).
Is that first code like... a DLC code or something..? I honestly can't figure it out, obviously the eShop just throws an "invalid code" error.
Or maybe it's part of a crazy metagame!
Thanks for the answer. I played the Wii U demo back in the days and liked the game, however, I read that the first entry has underwater sections and I simply hate them in nearly every game. I'll take a look at RER2 and see if that works for me.Raid is one of the best co-op modes ever made. Especially the final level of RER1 Raid, Ghost Ship, where you and a partner (or you by yourself) literally go through the entire massive cruise ship from the main game, in any order you wish, trying to find the true exit, each area featuring terrifying monsters but rewards to make it worth your while.

I'm mostly playing handheld mode, default, motion controls. Super comfortable for me! Also tried docked mode last night with split joycons and motion controls but I can never aim well 1 handed using a single joycon, just like Splatoon 2. Using both hands at once on the Pro controller with motion controls is my favorite controller scheme EVER for shooters, hope they patch it in here too someday :)
I really like the underwater sections in RER1. They're brief and straightforward enough, and feel fast and nimble. You just dive up or down to your desired level, and then you stay on that plane. Most of your time is on dry land, though. Thanks for the answer. I don't remember there being anything luck-based about it. Put your character in a corner and just spot the difference, aim and shoot. The boss operates on distinct and well-telegraphed patterns. The final boss of Rev 1 is bad game design 101. It's difficult but it's not challenging, it's focused on a gimmicky mechanic based on chances before skills. It's so bad I'm considering dropping the game now. And mind me, it's not about the difficulty, there are more difficult bosses out there, it's just the bad mechanics.
Anyone?Just got to the first weapon box, decided to upgrade Jill's Samurai Edge, is this a good way to go? Are the upgrades one use only, or can I take them off and put them on a different weapon.

Also has a sweet-ass design, setting and boss music!
It's a random guess I threw out. I don't even remember if RE.net has any code redemption things.

Yup! Make sure they're enabled in the control options.Super stupid question.
Can I use motion controls in handheld? Doesn't seem to offer it. Am playing rev 2.
haha i think he's asking if the motion controls are as good as re4 wii. and yes, they are! better, even, because of improved accuracyRe4 Wii edition is the best version due to the controls. Perfect!
I think the Revenants and invisible enemies in RER2 are more nerve-wracking than anything in RER1. Revenants are some of the coolest enemies in the series.1 has a couple of scary moments. It was scarier on 3DS and obviously didn't translate as well being brought into HD.
2 isn't scary at all. In fact, just about everything involving the environmental design and monster design is fucking boring as shit.

So is raid totally separate from the campaign in r2 or does it tie back into the campaign at all? I kinda wanted to give it a quick pass through, but if it has a bunch of stuff sitting waiting on me to progress in the main game I'll just sit on it for a bit.

Revelations 2 really chugs during the RE6 raid maps. It's gotta be around 20-25 FPS in certain areas.
