If you come into this thread to say "this is funny" or to add a "but" comment you should really reevaluate your perspective.

This are not tax forms for this work. People want to legalize this work, and one argument is how it will help the economy.

It's not about taxes.

Adult content creators do pay. If you make over a certain amount a year payments will not be processed and sent to you without you filing the proper paperwork and if you make more than 20k in a year certain things are filed automatically. When these people report your paypal, patreon, tumblr, digital storefront, or w/e.... they are only trying to ruin your livelyhood with malice.

There is no exception.

So lets not pretend its about avoiding taxes. There isn't any evidence that that's being done anyway.

Filing self employment tax with creative interpretations of what it is you actually do (perforamance/ art) is the norm.

Is it any more of a gift than gratuity that a waitress/waiter would get working a restaurant? They are required to pay taxes on that (whether or not they actually do varies from place to place).

People should pay the taxes they owe on their income, it's how society functions. But on the other hand, targeting someone because you are resentful that women aren't subservient baby makers is incredibly shitty.

I know it is not about paying taxes. These guys are doing it out of vindictiveness. My main point is that people saying these workers' income can be easily hid from the IRS through gift cards or Google Wallet are gambling on the IRS never catching on or acting on it. That's a gamble you should not take if you don't want an IRS audit years down the line and having to pay thousands in back taxes.

How is this account suicide. I have been scrolling through this topic on twitter and I'm of 2 hearts about it.

As a small business owner, I have to report my profits to the IRS and it damn sure ain't fair to see others skate by and cheat the tax man.
And i've scrolled through some of the people that are protesting this and their twitters and see that they so demandingly wanted to see The Orange Man's taxes but want to dodge taxes themselves

I could care less about what sex they are, there are people that do this same thing in the community i'm in and i'm not throwing hisfits that people are trying to cut into my profit margins

This is just wrong. Any service is taxable, a kid mowing laws is supposed to be taxed if they're getting paid enough... also what you're talking about is laundering money which is a good way to end up in jail.

You can take your actual beliefs: hating women and your actual platform: harassing women and spin it in to people questioning the legitimacy of your obviously flawed and baseless bullshit i.e. : taxation in other instances emails/lawful immigration/small government and on and on and on.
