Yeah but it depends on the situation, i would consider his 'nen consumption' hatsu and Netero hatsu to be way more op.

I do wonder why Netero looked way younger than him, we do know that Netero reverts to an old man when is aura is all gone so he was never pushed that far. But what is Maha doing with his nen to be always in 'old men' appearance? He must go very hard all the time, all to the max lol

Probably, but like Netero we will never know the full the extend of their power during their prime.
It's funny, if Netero WAS in his prime during the story I don't think anything would have changed. Meruem was still far above what any one human is capable of, the fight would play out the same with maybe a few more scratches on Meruem.
Nah, Meruem wasn't even doing much besides getting smacked around by Netero's full power and barely feeling it, he never truly exerted his stamina to a great extent unlike Netero. Netero being twice as powerful wouldn't close the insane gap between them. Meruem would feel some pain but that's about it. Zero Hand left him with light superficial scratches, double that and you're still not gonna kill Meruem.
One of the themes of the chimera ants was that it took the combined might of humanity to wipe Meruem and the ants out. There's no one human who could flat out beat him one on one.

If prime Netero has strength compared to adult Gon then the King is in a very bad spot. He ain't taking the hits from his buddha so the whole fight would be a lot different. It would be Netero on the offensive instead of the king, and it would make Netero pattern almost impossible to find.
Netero's Zero Hand didn't do much of anything to Meruem. I don't see Netero winning in any circumstance really. Keep in mind, Meruem was fighting with a handicap too.

Lol at the blood user needing regular transfusions. Before the fight starts, it seemed they planned to use his ability to do another thing, so maybe he has a second ability with his blood related to finding information.

The snake ability and soul ability are really something. Not many speech bibles this week, but good progress none the less. So we can probably expect full scale mafia war next volume or two.
Finally got to see the Xi Yu vice boss and those were some cool abilities. Morena's lot just don't give a fuck, slashing necks wherever.

I can't see that really. The way the second rakers are treated seems pretty firm (& harsh) legislature - I can't see one of their kids becoming a prince.
We've now seen 5 of the 22 Morena squad. Still only seen one ability though, and if those two jobbers didn't even have enough kills to get nen abilities yet we can only assume some of the others have killed a lot considering how many are reported to have been killed.
Whew, time to forget everything I know about the current arc and its characters for like 6 months
