Looks neat though

This is a great looking HD Remake.

CGI looks a bit more cartoonish than The Jungle Book but still very impressive.

It's what I expected to look. Apes a lot of the visuals of the original, but makes them worse in essentially every way.

Shot for shot remake I see.

I still hold that they should have focused on remaking the lesser known like they did with Pete's Dragon. So like Black Cauldron, Sword in the Stone, etc.

This looks really stupid

The question is what it will do that really justifies its existence as something separate from the original work. The Jungle Book worked because the original is a bit of a mess, decently good parts that make an incoherent whole. The original Lion King is already sublime.

The CG is, of course, amazing here.

Yep thats a remake. I can already see the billion dollar box office.

That was as barebones as you can get.
