That's a pretty shitty sale, at least compared to what Sony regularly does.

But I'll probably buy DKCTF.

Both of them are on sale in the US though.

I still don't get why people don't have at least a US and an EU account. It's so easy to set that up, takes 5 minutes and it's simply a reasonable thing to do.

I'm gonna cherry-pick the best deals from each region, Valkyria Chronicles and maybe Rayman from the US, probably Minit and Xenoblade: Torna from the EU or replace my physical copies of BotW and Odyssey with digital ones...
I know they're on sale on the US store, which sucks even more they aren't on the EU one. I had credit left on my my main EU account so I couldn't swap my region to US.

XB2 going for that 2 million milestone.

Nintendo will probably never tell us if it meets it though.:(

Consider yourselves privileged Europe. A first-party Nintendo sale is an event that occurs once every 100 years.

Midgar, With Love
Breath of the Wild is amazing. It's niche and flew under the radar but just trust me on this and get it now.

Well, NA people have some deals we EU people don't have, so... But yeah, I didn't see first party titles getting discounted lol.

Wow, that's a huge steal. Enjoy it!
I wish I could get the game for a good price. Not a single store has a discount on X2, even used copies go for €50.

I really wanted dragon quest builders and Hyrule warriors, but it out of cash. The sale is tempting though

Glad I've sold my physical version of Mario for 35€ a few weeks ago. And now the digital version is mine :p
(had done this with Zelda during the previous sale... summer sale iirc)
Got Tropical Freeze at full price in September but I guess the game deserves it (it's one of the best platformer ever).

The first party stuff is still more than I'm willing to pay. Might have to pick up Wonderboy though.

I really don't understand the argument of 'Game X sells well why should it be on sale'. Are we saying that only games that aren't very good or have failed to sell in decent numbers should be discounted?

Because, unless something has changed, you can't buy anything on the US eshop with a European debit/credit card. Right? The only other option is buying US eshop credit on import.

Discounts during peak gift-buying week without any way to actually give discounted goods as a gift... Hmmm

I guess I'm stuffed unless I go to Amazon and beg for the difference in vouchers.

Are we saying that only games that aren't very good or have failed to sell in decent numbers should be discounted?

No, just games that have slowed down sales-wise and would benefit from a boost, which is most games after a year or so. Nintendo's tentpole games are unique in the industry in that they tend not to slow down for a long time.

Guys, if I have the UK cart of BOTW, can I get the south african store version of the BOTW expansion pass and will it be compatible? I can't seem to find a definitive answer yet
