Not sure where JPN Nintendo found a video from an a channel with 1 subscriber and 150 views or why they decided it was worth making a blog post for.
I remember using that level for a UE4 game development project back when I was working on my software development degree.
They just took a skin from one of the Paragon characters and used that as their model. Epic Games released all of the models and assets from Paragon when they shut it down.
yikes, so what's the point of the video and announcing a game this way if it's all free assets?
I'm so confused. Are they announcing an asset flip a year in advance, or did they announce the game but have literally not even started development and so have nothing to show but a stock UE4 level and model?

Uhhh... is Epic going to allow this? I don't know what the terms of them releasing the Paragon assets are, but straight up selling them in a game might be questionable. That's Shinji they're playing as and all those monsters are another one of the Paragon characters.
getting more people to talk about it in the hopes of getting more purchases when it hits the app store, presumably.

uh...feels like theres something wrong with the camera or the objects arent scaled right. Disorienting to the point where you might get a little motion sickness.

I don't mean to thread-whine, but seriously. For the unaware:
I have some experience developing with Unreal Engine 4. Everything you see here are free, well-known assets of the Unreal Marketplace.
There was literally zero work done in what was showcased here. They didn't even bother building the lighting for their "trailer", or even surpressing screen messages, as you can see to the top left of the video.
This is even less of a game than any kind of outdated, ugly 0,99$ game on Steam that only has a point & click mechanic.
This is not a project, it's not a prototype, it's literally nothing.
I guess we can discuss this nothing though if mods insist.

Interesting soundtrack choice for a reveal. Crazy to see The Quiet Man design influencing other titles despite having been released so recently.
