Someone talk me out of (or into) Skyrim on Switch. Is the game worth $30, esp if I have it on PC? Are there PC mods that make the game amazingly better to the point that I should just go that route? Because frankly playing on the Switch handheld mode is my current preference for gaming these days.
It's the same game you have on PC, except without the improvements you can add to it yourself on PC. There aren't major, major improvements for Skyrim as there are for other Bethesda engine games (like New Vegas or Morrowind), but there are a ton of small ones that really add up (like horses that travel at a decent speed instead of the super slow vanilla ones that are barely faster than walking, or the ability to make books you haven't read glow in the dark, or even simply getting rid of over-encumbering).
