i hope he gets out. i really like his music and i find he can be really funny when he wants to.

The only reason I can't complete denounce him is that I know how fucked up things can be when you are surrounded by real street dudes. You gotta play your role otherwise you'll get eaten alive.
People don't realize how difficult it can be to cut those ties without mayor repercussions for your own safety.
Especially when you are just about to earn some mayor money ...you would have to cut them a check big enough to compensate for all the money they think they could get from you or link up with another group for security.
Seems like he knew what was about to happen so he paid for legit security company services....which resulted in some of the goons he was messing with before feeling some type of way.

Hes 22 years old and reckless. It takes similar experiences like this to filter that shit out of you. Im not condoning his actions or behaviour but imagine being around the wrong crowd and you just got a major payday. So many edicts coming at you, especially from people you dont know..

i hated him based on first impressions too. then i heard his music and i gotta be honest, it reminded me a lot of early 00s new york rap which i really like, like onyx and dmx. then i heard him being interviewed and he was pretty candid about his situation before rap (ie less than 12 months ago). found his dad murdered. ended up with ptsd. mom was so broke him and his brother turned to dealing drugs to support his family. fell in with the wrong crowd. got his gf pregnant and had a kid on the way when he caught that underage girl case. was so broke he couldnt afford a lawyer so he plead guilty to avoid being locked up from his kid. then i saw heaps of videos of him just giving away stacks of cash. to his family. to random kids. i dunno. beyond the bravado which i thought honestly was an act, like it is with 90% of these rappers, he seemed like a fucked up broken dude. which is something i can relate to.
honestly, the world needs more empathy not less. at the end of the day, these are just poor kids. literally.
i guess we'll find out over the next year or so what was really going on. but it wouldnt surprise me if his management were using him to clean cash and were basically extorting him. its a story as old as time in hiphop. i've lost track of how many rappers got used by their managers. dre, pac, biggie, weezy, etc etc. i think he just got caught up. anyways, just my opinion. and i'm biased cause i think his music is fucking banging.
He is a father and provides for his mother - i think he just bought her a house not too long ago.

Nah you have to put absolutely 0 value in your own life when this shit started going down. This dude was literally trolling LA gangs at the beginning of the year (Like in fucking February), somehow people forgot he was getting shows shut down as a precaution and he still went all in. There's getting in too deep and there's actively bringing that attention to yourself for no reason other than searching for that clout, dude got fucked up at LAX for that, we have it on fucking video. What does he do next? He starts beefing w/ Redd, Sosa then some dudes in NYC too and we're back to it again. Like dude was a clout chaser from day one, it's just he had no sense of self preservation through it all.

Reckless doesn´t even start to describe what he is. The consequences of his actions also put non-affiliated people around him in danger..
Many people (me included) have a time in their life when they´re reckless, i definately hung out with the wrong people in my teenage years. But sooner or later you need to get your act together, probably harder considering the dreg he hangs around with but you get what i mean..
My extremely empatic nature of putting everyone elses well-being over my own has put my mind into trouble more times than I can count. Believe me, lack of empathy is definately not a description that´s fitting for me.
I do however show my empathy for people that deserve it, he is not one of them. If he is a father he should get his act together and act like one, buying his mother a house is nothing else but empty promises, you can´t buy love.. And I would bet that his mother would rather wish that he´d be a proper role-model for his child than whatever house he´s provided her.
Considering the video with the under-age girl and all the other shit he´s been up to.. Nah, i rather feel sorry for his family, but for him I can´t muster any sympathy or empathy whatsoever, he deserves none!

The difference is you assuming that he is the Gangster that wanted all the smoke...my point is that its more likely that people who were around him pushed him to keep things escalating because it made them money and essential for his well being.

From what i could gather, desperation to make money and feed his daughter got him involved with those people in the first place. People act different if they feel like they have nothing to loose..and once you are in....well you are in. This only could end like this.

I think most rational people would see the under age girl thing and recognise it just as an unfortunate situation for everyone involved. He was a teenager. She was a teenager. It was consensual. She lied about her age (among other things). Any decent lawyer would've gotten that shit chucked out of court. Heard from DJ Ak video the girl lied about her age to get in his music video that was what the case was. If he did moleste a child damn, then idk wtf the judge was smoking only giving him probation and not even to register as a sex offender guess they didn't have hard evidence or are total idiots

it might not be comfortable to adress these things but its important to stay with the facts.
People dont like to get corrected when they already despise a person and often difficulties to separate different issues.
Me, personally i can label him as a shitty being....but some facts just put a different picture on specific things people bring up about him. Any discussions about him would be more civil if people just refered to the facts.
