This is the best, I hope it's still empty.And the fact that they can actually add NPCs.

Together is literally the only KH3 trailer I've thought as well made, and it was ruined by the shitty movie trailer voice. Had they ditched that and used that one KH3 song, it would've been golden.
The Game Awards are next month. If there isn't a new world reveal during the show, then what we have already is all we're getting. And if we also don't see Final Fantasy characters by then, chances are more than likely there are no Final Fantasy characters this time around.

Game looks good. But whenever I think of the clusterfuck of a story from the end of KH 1 onwards, my hype dies a little.
Finally a KH3 trailer thats decent and doesnt have horrible sound mixing. This is how you market this game to the general population instead of just to the fans preoccupied about Aqua getting norted or something.

Just play it for gameplay. I'm not even bothered with story and characters anymore.
It won by default just by not having that corny simple & clean sequel music drowning everything else in the background. So yeah. Best yet.
I like that song.
And the issue with the trailers wasn't that it was overlaid with that song, but that it lacked all other goddamn sound effects! That and all of the seemingly random cuts with no real focus on any scene or action packed or slow tempo moment ruined every last one of them.
I feel like we've barely seen anything from this game. And then as I typed out all the worlds we know about I realized we have seen quite a bit. Weird.
Yes. Youre 100% right. I'm just adding to all of that me not liking the song but yeah, overall they were all horribly put together trailers. Something tells me Square hired someone specially for cutting this new trailer instead of putting Nomura or whomever in charge.
Who still plays Kingdom Hearts for the story? I played the second one all those years ago I didn't understand a thing, and I haven't understood the story since.

Games are long. I need engaging story to keep me playing. Doesn't have to be good, just engaging enough to keep me wanting to see what happens next. Especially in JRPG, where there is so much fluff.
the fan base casual and hardcore wouldn't exist without the story :)

Nobody I speak to knows what the heck is going on with the story. Most seem content just to play it for the Disney worlds and stuff.

It really is a frustration that people can't accept that their anecdotal "I don't care or know anyone who does" bubble doesn't account for every single one of the millions of people who play these games. There are so many people who do care about the story, and do follow it just fine. The games have been story heavy since Chain of Memories. It's been 14 years of lore-laden sequels and they've made no bones about it even once.
Like, if you're just playing for the gameplay and movie adaptations, that's fine and more power to you, but after almost 15 years it's time to embrace the idea that the 'mess of a story' has plenty of fans and isn't the superfluous, unwanted feature you make it out to be.

Also, another gorgeous looking trailer. As many have said, they've also done great work over this last year or two getting Sora's character model and how its lit in the environments looking right too.

I play for the story, but thats a heck of a skewed poll when "setting" isn't an option.
That's so vague though. Like if I was presented with that poll, I'd be like "okay, I guess out of those options I'd put story because going around to various Disney worlds on your journey is story-related, right?" The fact that Disney isn't a major option on there in Disney-obssessed Japan is a bit of an indication something is up.
Sorry, I don't live in a bubble. Nobody I know in real life have been able to follow the story or can explain what is going on. There's a reason those crazy charts exist. If you can follow it, then good for you.

Nomura isn't leaving Square. Also, FFXV got the first round of DLC; it was season two that fell to shambles.
Have they stated how the DLC will work for KH III? I think Nomura said that they'd be making it as something "independent" from the regular development so it isn't something cut away from the game.
As much as I give Nomura shit for his Nomura shit, he, much like the Dragon Quest folk, make sure they release products that don't feel like things were cut from the product, unless you datamine. :p
