It is definitely not common for a celebrity to repeat the same phrase this many times verbatim during a press run.

Yes they may talk about the same stuff but not often word for word like this.

Yeah anyone who does public appearances constantly runs the same lines and jokes all the time. Politicians will tell the same damn story at every event. Same thing.

Kind of like the first time you hear a comedian re-telling a joke in a different set or interview and you realize that you weren't part of a special audience to hear that joke for the first or last time.

*gasp* People on promotional tours try to hit the same beats every time? Shocker. They do this because most people aren't watching every single talk show or radio interview.

I noticed Mark Hamill doing this while they were promoting for The Last Jedi.

Makes sense honestly.

You're asked the same question every single time, so eventually you just come up with the same response. Its doesnt mean its inauthentic, it just means that eventually you kind of get tired off having to give the same opinion every time

You tried it.
The Whitney of our Generation (Gaga [citation: I'll Never Love Again from A Star Is Born]) is coming for that Oscar, her haters are out in full force lmfao. Imagine having to instead pick from today's shitty stable of pop stars.

I will say though, even as a fan, some of her interviews can come across... I don't know, phony?

This is completely common on press tours, so I don't really see what the big deal is.

I mean, would it surprise you that stand up comedians have the same set for a whole tour?

Lot's of folks in here haven't given speeches huh? It's a good line... you have to get use out of a hit. Also I heard she plays a similar setlist in different shows.

This is super common, though. When actors/singers go on press tours, every appearance is meant for a different audience. Her message is consistent to each audience, and it's a powerful one.

I don't really get what's so funny about it.
Well, Wet Blanket Man, it was funny because the dude on her side got this powerful message over and over and over in this video.

lol, what pitchforks? It's just funny to see that very personal message to Bradley Cooper get repeated again and again

My wife showed me a video of the costar of a Star is Born ... whatever his name is ... standing next to her as she says this like 30x times and slowly a bit of him dies in every subsequent retelling. I'm at work so I dunno if this is the same video, but it may be.

faux edit, bradley cooper

"I thought this was pretty funny" == PITCHFORKS EVERYONE TRYNA KILL LADY GAGA LIKE SHES BEAST

Damn y'all so defensive. I said MY pitchfork lol

This is absolutely not true. Work any junket, especially multiple days, and you will hear the same thing over and over and over. It's intentional.

She's an Italian girl in an Italian world...

Madonna may be the Queen of Pop but the contempt she's always shown Gaga is a huge disappointment.

They could have collaborated and produced a bigger hit than Telephone (since Madge is bigger than Beyonce), but instead we're left with Me Against The Music featuring everyone's favorite thin-vocalled android, Britney Spears. Up next, a collab with Katy Perry. Sigh!

There can be 99 bottles of beer on the wall
but if you take one down and pass it around
there will be 98 bottles of beer.

This reminds me when I worked retail at EB Games and you'd just say the same shit about games over and over again all day long, especially when a new release game came out.

So what? You never fall back on the same idioms? Ever? You could do this to pretty much literally anyone. Y'all are just cynical and mean.

Lmao I feel like she could've gotten her point across by switching it up and not saying the same rehearsed line over and over.

Press tours are a slog. I remember jim carry talking about it for one of the pet detective movies. He go so tired of the "do you like working with animals" question he'd make up random answers just to mess with people.

There could be 99 outfits and only 1 speech that believes in you, but Gaga can still work any look.

Imagine being asked the same four questions every day for a month. She found a compact way to express her feelings on making the film/soundtrack for her own sanity.
Repeating the same rehearsed answer and making it seem like this sincere, heartfelt moment every time would be a greater risk to my sanity than just improvising and invariably repeating myself on occasion.

I can't tell if some of you are just Lady Gaga fans and see this video through a certain lens or if you're just desensitized to inauthenticity.
