I used to go crazy over scratched discs. I had one of those disc cleaners and sprays for my games when I was a kid.

Next week makes a lot of sense. In the past Nintendo only did Directs up to mid November or the final days of November.

Wii U discs are based off Blu-Rays, so they should be difficult to scratch. In any case, Wind Waker on Switch? That would be pretty great. I skipped it on Wii U, but I might consider picking up a portable version. Maybe it'll be in the January Direct.
It should be Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD on one disc, but you know Nintendo won't do that. Sell them separate for $60.
Jonneh had been doing stuff like that with RE4 discs long before it was announced. Like months and months.

If you're lucky in 2 months you'll find out new info. I knows its been a very long time since the last AC game.
i'm sure it'll the the same old animal crossing it's always been. you'll get to shoot hell demons, get exp and raise your stats (all of which are useless and you'll put all your points towards attack), get tons of guns but only use two of them, and so on and so forth

He didn't say no more announcements, he said no more games to be announced that would be released in 2018.

Wind Waker HD seems like a good announcement for the Game Awards (Zelda is basically the Game Awards sponsor at this point). I really hope it's not 60 dollars, or at least bundle it with TP.
If it does come next year I'm guessing there's no 2D Zelda coming. I wonder if they're even making one at this point. The scope of the 3D Zelda games might cannibalize everything around it. Unless Grezzo is doing it.

There will be a Direct in December 2022 and if I'm wrong I will sit in a puddle

According to Aonuma the handheld team is still separate and working on something. I find it doubtful that they would make a concurrent 3D Zelda so it's either 2D, some weird mix like Phantom Hourglass or something entirely different.
